About
North Granite Ridge Golf Club spans 320 acres of beautiful woodlands in the heart of Muskoka. The layout plays through large boulders and towering trees across dramatic elevation changes provided by granite ridges, hence the name. The greens are undulating and the fairways are quite narrow, demanding both accuracy and skillful course management. It is home to the longest par 5 in Muskoka at 622 yards from the back tees. The challenges of the golf course are complemented by panoramic views that stretch deep into the forest, providing some scenic respite. Opened in 1999, North Granite Ridge Golf Club is fairly new but it has quickly become one of the area's must-play golf courses.

This course has improved
Greens are on the slow side but have improved since last year. Awesome job on the new cart paths through all 18 holes. Layout is awesome and have to keep it straight. Par 5’s are no slouch and good combo of short and medium par 4’s. good overall condition.
Great value
This was the first time playing this course and I can’t say enough good things about the staff and course itself. I showed up an hour early for my tee time and the starter got us out right away. Every employee we came into contact with was friendly and accommodating. The course is in very good shape for this early in the year. Freshly paved cart paths and clear signage made our round easy and quick. Some challenging holes. I will definitely be back.
Great golf experience
Course was in fairly good shape as it just opened it'll only get better.
The GM Spencer is always hands on, cordial and makes everyone welcome it seems.
The upgrades on the course such as the newly paved cart paths are a huge improvement.

Play every year
A group of six Southern Ontario seniors make a trip North for a week of golf every year. We make it a point to play North Granite Ridge every year. It is one of our favourite courses. We will be playing it again the first week of June 2022.
DOWN THE WRONG PATH
Unbeknownst to me, the course closed the front nine to put in new cart paths. That’s great, but as a guest, I wish I had been informed. The course was wet, the greens sandy and too many leafs. Another day.
Far to many leaves on the greens and course. Consistently losing balls in the leaves, very frustrating.
Hidden gem
Great course!! Always enjoy playing, beautiful Muskoka scenery and challenging holes well maintained. Thanks so much for your honest and friendly staff as I had lost my wallet(first time ever) and it was found and returned the next day.
Slow
Slow as F........as usual.
They need marshal and they know that, but never fix that.
My last time there because of that. Bye bye.
My favourite Muskoka course
Been coming up here to Deerhurst to stay for this week for over 30 years. The last 15, it’s been about the golf. No matter where I book tee times, I always book atleast one round at North Granite Ridge. Staff are awesome, course is very well laid out, most of the fairways are wide and the greens are beautiful and a little tricky too. One of THEE best values for your money. We’ll be back next year!
Great course. Very slow pace following last tournament group.
Was a slow round. Before we teed off was approached by customer who was told they had an hour wait past their tee time. Over booked other golfers on a tournament day. Our pace was very slow. Didn't get all 18 holes in. Players assistant had me inform group that already headed to first tee block that we were ahead of them. Kept hearing him say weather is going to get bad and no way groups are getting 18 in. I'm a PA for another course. Customer service is paramount as we are representing the course.
