Bloomington Downs Golf Club

I hadn't played here in years. Glad to see a number of improvements. The course was in good shape, especially since it is a public course. Has some challenging holes. But the pace of play is much too slow. 5 hours is much too long for this course. Wet grounds and cart path only might have been involved, but plenty of open holes on the back nine. A definite need for a marshal to monitor speed of play.

Don’t expect much as this is a public course. Slow greens with lots of ball marks. Grass in rough is way too long and bunkers are hard. Layout is poorly designed.

The course needs to a better job of managing tee times and controlling the pace of play. The Marshall was nowhere to be found. As a result, each and every hole there was a long queue as the tee times were too close together and groups were not able to play at smooth pace. Took us 2.5 hours to the front 9 and we gave up as the back 9 was even more clogged.

Really enjoyed our round of golf. Greens were in impeccable condition. Long course to walk. Better to take a cart!

We played this course and Sunday afternoon it took 5 hours and 10 minutes, brutal. I have played this course in 3.5 hours. The new tee boxes add a better challenge, tee boxes were in good condition.

Loved getting almost hit in the head by the group behind me and Marshall’s or course staff doing nothing about it

We had t time 810 the group 750 had at least 2 guys don’t know know to play

One big guy with hybrid stood hiding for 30 more seconds like frozen then hit , hit not swing. Then missed then twice attempt 3 rd ball went 30 yards to right

Another couple the guy waited cleared 270!yards just grounded

Then at the fairways still struggle

No ranger to tour

One man as staff collecting $$$ in office n make announcement inside calling T time to t off

No marshal to move pace of play. Seems people forgot how o play ready golf. Cart maintenance is poor. I'm a senior on Thursday, why not the weekend?
