Changes this year
Disappointed that no options for 9 holers ( other than 8:00 am back nine but still can’t book it)
Golf cart rate now $18.00 per person (=$36.00 a cart)
Should have 2 water stations and better restroom option
Potential
Once the changes are good to go, it'll be a really nice trek... luv it already.
Bloomington Downs
I have played the course five times so far this year. It is in good condition and good value for your money. The range and putting greens are large so lots of room to warm up. the new tees (more to come) nicely lengthen the course if you want to play them. The only knock is that the Marshall needs to be more proactive moving slow groups along. there were 2 1/2 empty holes in front of the group we were trailing, which backed up the whole course. Otherwise, all good, look forward to going back.
Temporary Tee Decks
In fairness the website did declare that X number of tee decks were under repair but I was dismayed by how many actually were, how much they impacted the layout of the course. I also note that these tee decks were also under construction last year. There were some tee decks where the grass was freshly laid down and the sod needed to settle, fine. Half of the others still had major work underway with ground equipment parked. Point being, you can’t put almost half the course under construction at one time and expect to have happy golfers!

Course in great shape considering a tornado passed through two days prior.

This is very fabulous course.
It seems esay but intermediate level, some holes needs high skill to manage the course.

Good value
Most tee boxes under repair which explains to good price I got. Otherwise nice course to walk.
5 hr pace of play for a short course is unacceptable. 10 tee boxes under construction Tough course to marshall as most golfers there have no idea what golf is......
Poor pace
In significant need of requiring a martial for a quality control of overall golf manner of the people and pace. Had young players ahead of us who would just drink up beer without teeing off when they had no one in front of their group.
On the other hand,
Had another young group who would just tee off while we barely made second shot.
Furthermore, people just grabbing their poorly shotted balls from other hole while we tee off.
Overall, the experience was poor.
However the course it self is well maintained, expecting it to be much much better after current renovation.
Staffs are friendly and helpful.
