Gem of a course!
From the pro shop staff to the grounds keepers, the experience at Richmond Hill Golf Course is always top notch. This beautiful course offers a lot of challenging holes along with a fabulous range, chipping and putting area to warm up! Finish with some food and drinks on their lovely patio overlooking the 18th green to celebrate a wonderful round. Truly a fabulous experience! Peter A
Had fun as always!
Great golf venue/ound , a tad foggy on front nine. Weather cleared on back nine.
Our female server staff (of Romanian descent) at the ninetieth hole was friendly and attentive.
Fabulous fall game
Richmond Hill golf course is absolutely beautiful to play in the fall. I highly recommend it!
Needs a better course Marshal
Course was is a good condition, layout is good too.
The club must look into more training for the on-course staff. Our group was on the 18th hole waiting on the group ahead of us to take their next shots; however, the people in the group ahead were not golfers, perhaps taking about 15 swings to get the ball moving and if they lost the ball, taking more shots from the same spot. At this point in time, it had been 10-15 mins of us being on the 18the watching them miss the ball. In this time, Marshall “Zoya” come to our group and said that we can’t tee off anymore, since it close to sundown (6:40 pm). When told her the group in front is not playing fast and we are being held up, she confessed she knows about the problem and she was watching them from behind us, and she will NOW go speak to them, after she had already denied us to tee off. When we asked why are we being penalized for their indiscipline, the answer shocked us all…
We were told by her, this why you pay the twilight rate - sucks - name of the game. Everyone in out group were just stunned with the answer after knowing the fact that they were slow and are being held up.
We paid $85 be at this club and play (twilight)… In my opinion, when you are charging $85 for twilight, it’s not cheap.
We have played at cheaper course and much expensive courses than Richmond Hill and never have been left an answer of such disregard.
If you are trying to be a premium club, I hope you give your staff the training to respond like a premium club staff.
Not BAd
Tight course a couple of new Blue tees in construction will make it a bit more fun. Over priced for this course. Greens runs nicely. Fun day overall
