Seaforth Golf Club

Love Seaforth, always a great day on a great course. Weather a little cool for early Oct but certainly tolerable with outerwear. Course was in solid shape - greens good and very little rough, most notably behind the driveable 16th green!!!

Seaforth is well-kept and a fun course to play. I played the blacks and thought they were challenging. The difficulty in this course comes from the speed of the greens and from narrow tee shots, not from length. If you cannot drive the ball straight, do not play from the blacks or you will be exposed. You will three putt on these greens as they are fast and tiered. With that being said, I love these greens even though I struggled with speed control.

With regards to amenities, I appreciate that Seaforth provides range balls with the green fee. The carts were older electric models and did not run well. The cartpaths could also use some TLC to make for a smoother ride. The food at the turn was OK, not the greatest selection or quality. The staff were friendly at first, but became a little abrasive over time. I understand that these are difficult times during a pandemic, but please treat outsiders as you do members.

Nice sunny day. Course was firm and fast. Perhaps a little too firm on fairways and tee blocks. More water required to soften things up.. Couldn't take much of a divot.

beautifully maintained and very scenic. a quiet, peaceful place to play. well worth the drive.

Second time this year. Course was wet due to some rain on the two previous days. Greens excellent as usual. Looking forward to playing again next year.

You need Marshall's.

3 Walker's in front of 2 of in a cart for the 1st 9 and it took us almost 2 hours. I finally confronted them on the 10th and there was a mild confrontation about flow and ediquite. The 3 some let us play through and we burn through the back 9 in 65 minutes.

If you’re considering playing this course for your next round, this is the review you’re looking for. We played on 09/01/20 and had a blast. Greens were in great shape, fairways were cut and the rough wasn’t too punishing. The staff is just like the course, excellent. Only negative review I could have for this course is to have it GPS mapped so we can use range finders on our phones!

10/10, get out here and enjoy this awesome course. Best value for golf we have played this year.
