Really good shape
Course is in really good shape. Greens were outstanding and the bunkers were great. Have not played here in years. Will be back again.
A good course worth playing
The course is very well maintained and the fairways n greens are in very good condition. The rough also cut low making it much easier to find balls thus improving pace. Bunkers also good with soft sand. Checking in was super quick with very friendly and polite staff. Beverage cart is always around. Overall speaking a very well maintained course worth coming back and if price can be lower, will be more attractive for those down south.
walked off after 9 holes and staff couldn't have cared less
It was aggravating to sit behind 3 golfers, who were below average, while they waited for the green to clear before a second shot, and that included par 5's!!!
Read the reviews of Shawneeki. Complaints are rarely about the course -- always about staff and pace of play. I couldn't agree more. The marshall, the starter, and the clubhouse guy didn't want to hear it. They kept referring to their watches to tell me all was on time. Told the clubhouse guy I wasn't looking for a refund or credit. He couldn't have cared less. Notice how little staff smile at this place.
Shame.
Good Round
Overall the course was in great shape and the weather was perfect for golf. The only issue is course marshalls need to look at the pace of play and ensure players are playing from the correct tee boxes for their ability.
Excellent Round
Had a fantastic twilight round, great pace of play, greens were excellent, look forward to returning again sooner rather than later.
Always a pleasure
This is a course that I enjoy more each time I play it because I appreciate different aspects each time I go. Hitting the fairway is a premium on a lot of holes as being even just a few yards in the rough can cause you to have tree issues or be blocked out on the next shot in some spots. With the different tee boxes, this course can really play different on some holes. I use pretty much every club in the bag playing this hole which means there is good variety. Great practice area, and conditions are always in pretty good shape here.
Great track!
Great track! Conditions were great! Friendly staff and good food at the turn! The course is a great for golfers of all skill level. Fairly open and forgiving course!
