Bang for buck
The course is pretty simple, tons of straight aways but, not well maintained,. A lot of parts is like hitting off concrete. Round plus cart $100 not worth it, wouldn't go back, should be between $50 to $70 max with cart.
Staff were amazing, very friendly and social
Nice course
Condition very good. Design offers challenge. Greens can be quick. Walk friendly layout.
‘Last Resort’ Course
Over priced and underwhelming, I book shawneeki when all other courses in my area are full. I can play silver lakes or pheasant run for similar (or less) cost.
Of course I may be paying extra for the ‘pleasure’ of the added time it takes to finish a round. This last round it took almost 5 hours.I wish I kept my picture of 8 golf carts waiting on hole 16. from last year.
Shawneeki is your punishment for not booking nicer courses earlier.
Great shape
The course was in great shape. The greens were fast, healthy and consistent with one another. No complaints at all regarding the course or staff. I would play it again tomorrow if I had the time.
Where are the marshals
Nice course. Good shape for early in the season. Some tee boxes could be kept a bit better. They need to have Marshall’s out during the day. You have groups waiting for greens to clear on Par 4’s before teeing off. They need to speed this groups up. Senseless to wait 10-15 to tee off every hole.
