Shoes
wanted to buy shoes on sale I was told by lady that I could see shoes after my round
I entered clubhouse was told I would be looked after outside never ask me what I wanted just get out
I left .... NO SHOES!
Course Is In Excellent Condition!
Shawneeki course conditions are always top notch. All credit goes to the Turf Department. Price for golf is high for receiving no other services such as a small bucket of balls at no charge for driving range. Club house appears tired and outdated. Washrooms need updated.
Shawneeki Experience
I love Shawneeki and have been playing there for about 15 years. It is usually in good condition and provides a great challenge for me at my golfing level. I enjoy numerous holes especially the back nine, and would recommend it to anyone
Course is very good, but they need to improve
Course is very good. I planed it a few times.
However, the following needs to be improved:
1) I played two rounds. Courses charge a nominal fee (cost of power cart) for replays. This course charges you FULL green fees, which is ridiculous. I played in MUCH better courses, and they NEVER, EVER charged full green fees for replay.
This is a policy the course should review.
2) The grounds keeper left a note on my vehicle because of where I parked. Well, guess what, they have ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to touch my vehicle. You never, ever, ever touch something that does not belong to you, and that is something staff in this industry should know well. I am careful with my belongings, and as such, I do not want ANYONE messing with them. This was very poor CR from their part.
Delightful Course and great layout
It is a very walkable course with great diversity in holes. The Greens putt true but can be difficult to read and one you have to play a number of times to figure out. One thing I really like about the course is how different the front nine is for from the back nine, it's like playing two different courses in the same round. Well worth playing!

Love this course! Play it whenever we get the chance..
Interesting and challenging without being discouraging.
