Greens at Renton - Green Nine
About
The Greens at Renton, located in the southwestern community of Simcoe, offers three nine-hole courses that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. Although the nines are nearly identical in ratings and yardages, nine new lakes were strategically added when expanding the original 18 holes at the club and many of the existing holes were redesigned to increase the level of challenge. The Green Course is flat, making it enjoyable to walk. Some of the fairways are narrow and there are trees throughout. There is also the occasional sand trap. The Greens at Renton is also home to a well equipped practice facility that features an expansive driving range, practice bunkers, and a chipping green.

Second time playing
Nice course, great value for the money. Greens are excellent
Great Course
This one is a "keeper". Has 2 X 9's so easier to get a tee time. Pace was great, and good challenge for the moderate golfer (90 to 100). Interesting layout and very scenic.
Good
the starter was a little rude, there was two groups on the green 9 so I asked if we could start on the red 9. he said I told you which to do I not changing my mind, I said I just that's all so I went from a three hour round to just over 5
The course is always nice to play
This course is still a hidden gem. Having 27 holes there's a good variety of interesting holes to play. The course barring inordinate weather is always in good condition. Prices are excellent compared to what you would have to pay in the Golden Horseshoe area. Staff is friendly.
Nice
Recently moved to the area and am looking for a regular course to play. Although shorter than I am used to playing, it was very enjoyable.
The only negative is they have taken a bundle on bunkers out of play, making the course play easier.
Great Course
This was my first time at The Greens. I have just started to golf and it was an hour drive from home, but it was certainly worth it. The course is very well kept. Played Red and Blue course and holes were challenging but fun. I would definitely book here again.
Great value
Have not played this course in years, course was in great shape except the bunkers. The course is great value at $28 to walk primetime Saturday, and will return

the course was in good shape not to busy
Hidden gem
The distance to this course from my home is about 110km, but the drive paid off. I loved the course, the surroundings (farms and orchards), and the people I met there. I even loved the drive. It's not a top-notch course, I'd say, but the fairways, greens, and overall balance were just amazingly enjoyable!
Good for price paid
Played course few years ago condition hs gone down. Course wasquiet so pace of play was good. Shot 3 over from back tees.
Enjoyable Golf Outing
Except for the bunkers (some of which appear to have been abandoned), this course is in very good condition. We played the Red/Blue nines and found them interesting and challenging but playable. The greens were smooth and quite fast and the fairways well maintained. The course was busy and we had to wait some (apparently not unusual on Wednesdays). We were impressed with the courtesy and friendliness of the staff and really felt welcome here. We will be back!
Another Great Day at Renton
Course is always in as good a condition as possible. Played there several times a year.
