Greens at Renton - Red Nine

About
The Greens at Renton is home to three different nine-hole golf courses that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. Although the ratings and the yardages of the three nines are practically identical, each offers different challenges. The Red Course is relatively flat, making it an easy one to walk. There are a few narrow fairways and the occasional water hazard. There are plenty of trees throughout all of the golf courses. There are also a few sand traps placed strategically around the greensides. In addition to the three courses, the Greens at Renton offers a driving range, pro shop, and full-service clubhouse.

Tee boxes could use work. Always enjoy this course. Challenges but lots of great shots to finess.
Nice to have the basics in place
The course is set up well for golfers. All tee boxes have yardage stones and diagrams/maps posted. Abundant signs in tricky locations. Yardage markers on fairways. There are even yardages to water hazards on the score card. Bunkers are in good shape, even without rakes - hit out of two of them successfully.
Nice
Course was busy but pace of play was reasonable. Played as a threesome and a foursome up ahead allowed us to play through which was great. Staff very friendly.
Not bad
Pace of play was slow, course was in ok condition. Didn’t pay much so it was worth it.
Good Value
Greens were in good shape but only ran about 8 on the stimp. Some rough spots on course with areas under construction (ie bunkers) but good to see they are working on improvements. Decent course for the value on green fees but pace of play was a bit slower with waits at a few spots. Shorter track but has some tight tee shots with trouble to be found if you don’t keep it on the short grass.
The Greens at Renton
Wonderful course with some sand and water that can be in play, with some corridor fairways that put a premium on the tee shot.
It’s got some nice elevations, and with three 9’s to play you have to do it more than once.
