About
Rockway Vineyards Golf Course offers an 18-hole championship round with the Niagara Escarpment and the Rockway Conservation Area serving as the backdrop. The course sprawls across the vineyards of the Rockway Vineyards Estate Winery. The rolling landscape provides tricky elevation changes and there are numerous ponds and bunkers throughout the golf course. The layout features large, sculpted greens and fairways that are flanked by more than 60 sand bunkers. The front nine features a challenging set of par 4s and fast, undulating greens. Vineyards's back nine begins gently with short approach shots and birdie opportunities but becomes more challenging once you hit the 13th hole, a par-4 dogleg left.

Getting Better
They started adding sand to some bunkers. Once all are done it will be a 5* course.
Great course, first time but will be back
Course was in excellent condition. Greens rolled true. Tee blocks and fairways were well maintained. Course was busy but played moved quite well. Most fairways are wide and rough is not too high. Now one of my favorites in the area
Poor after round dinner service
Don't usually complain but calling it like it was, waited at least 10 minutes for a waitress to show up, finally had to resort to intercepting one as she was walking by and at that point asking her for a menu. Thing was, there was only 1 other table being served in the dining room, lots of waitresses in the bar area just ignoring us. Once we had the menu, the server was more attentive, and we were served in the usual manner. I would not have tipped her but he did. Food was overcooked but still tasty.
Very enjoyable
Fairways are in pretty good shape, traps could use some more sand, but not bad, greens are full of very subtle breaks and relatively quick. Some good risk/reward opportunities (ie long iron approaches over water to tucked pin etc) to keep things interesting. Will definitely return.
Better than expected
Course was packed and still played in 4hr 10 min. Course is in good shape and greens putted quick and true. Some bunkers had water after heavy rainfall day before, but fairways and greens were great. Helpful friendly staff as well.
Fabulous day of golf and eine tasting
From the moment we got there until the time we left, the staff were amazing, polite and helpful. We had a wine tasting before our round. We got there about 2 hours early and the starter fit us into an earlier tee time. The course was fun, challenging, in really good shape. When we voted back to the Falls, this will be our go to course.
