About
Rockway Vineyards Golf Course offers an 18-hole championship round with the Niagara Escarpment and the Rockway Conservation Area serving as the backdrop. The course sprawls across the vineyards of the Rockway Vineyards Estate Winery. The rolling landscape provides tricky elevation changes and there are numerous ponds and bunkers throughout the golf course. The layout features large, sculpted greens and fairways that are flanked by more than 60 sand bunkers. The front nine features a challenging set of par 4s and fast, undulating greens. Vineyards's back nine begins gently with short approach shots and birdie opportunities but becomes more challenging once you hit the 13th hole, a par-4 dogleg left.

Great course
Loved everything about this course, except for the absolutely rude Marshall that was working, ordering us to play faster even though there was no one behind us for 1.5 holes. There’s a right and wrong way to talk to people, this was absolutely the wrong way to approach us.
Had a day
Some courses just have it all figured out and rockway is one of them. Arrived to the course a half hour early and hit some balls on the range. Pro shop was friendly and helpful, young guy running the carts and range balls was enthusiastic and friendly. When it was time to tee off, the starter was awesome and welcoming, he sent myself and my dad to the back 9 first so we could play by ourselves, which was a dream come true. We played the back nine in less than 2 hours. Young lady running the beverage cart was friendly and around often, and was slinging cold bevvys. Front 9 had more people on it but still took us only about 2 hours and 15 minutes to play. Course was in great shape, albeit the dry summer we’re having.
Shot the lowest round of my life, and just found the vibes from the pro shop, to the starter, to the cart girl, and the cart barn guy to just be awesome. Seems like everyone at rockway is there for a good time.
A bit disappointing compared to prior rounds
Greens were sanded and did not run true. Tee boxes were filled with divots. Fairways were good. Still a very nice track.

Love This Place
This is the second time I have played here and love it. The course was in great shape even though it had just down poured for about 1/2 hr before we played. Some standing water and wet in places but not avoidable. Staff from proshop to the starter and cart girl to bar staff after were great. Can not wait to play again.

Course was in good shape but found the greens a little slow
Great course however
A little disappointed that the Marshall asked us too skip a hole because we were too slow and continued too follow us for a few holes. There were 3 of us that are decent golfers with years of experience and one newer golfer which really isn’t fair and she was picking up her ball if she didn’t have a great shot. We shouldn’t have been treated this way.

I have always looked forward to playing this course, it's always in great shape.
