About
Rockway Vineyards Golf Course offers an 18-hole championship round with the Niagara Escarpment and the Rockway Conservation Area serving as the backdrop. The course sprawls across the vineyards of the Rockway Vineyards Estate Winery. The rolling landscape provides tricky elevation changes and there are numerous ponds and bunkers throughout the golf course. The layout features large, sculpted greens and fairways that are flanked by more than 60 sand bunkers. The front nine features a challenging set of par 4s and fast, undulating greens. Vineyards's back nine begins gently with short approach shots and birdie opportunities but becomes more challenging once you hit the 13th hole, a par-4 dogleg left.

One of our favs
The staff at this course is outstanding. During this Covid situation all precautions were taken to ensure player’s safety. Course was in great shape and pace of play was great.
Great spot!
Last played this course over a decade ago and wonder why I waited so long to come back. Great course, nice layout however it certainly is challenging. Two issues: the marshall was asking us to pick up the pace of play on our 13th hole, however we putted out and were waiting behind the group ahead at the next hole, a par 3?!?!?!??!? Second concern was the condition of the rough, if you were off the fairway the grass was quite thick and inhospitable, lost a few balls because of it. All in all a great course, we'll be back!!
Ranger ruined our day
After a pleasant 16.5 holes a ranger approached us on 17 and told us we needed to pick up the pace...we were at the 3:45 mark and had a senior in our foursome...he had no clue and insisted we pick up pace even though group behind us was on 16th tee...ruined what was a good day with his ignorance...other than that I would recommend
Enjoyable round
Course was recently opened for the season. COVID-19 protocols were I. Place but did not detract from the experience. The course was in great shape. Pace was slow, presumably because everyone wants to play.

Finally out and love the drive to Rockway from Burlington...
Staff great and all good during Ontario's apocalypse...
The weather has been dry and good so we couldn't understand why the greens had not been cut or rolled.....big disappointment for the round.....this was a Friday
We will be back when the nanny state of Ontario will let us have a beer on the patio!!!!

Excellent course but not for the first timers

Played this course many times and this was the best we’ve seen it.

only problem they put out two many twosome and singles , you can get out but be ready for slow play
Awesome course
Right of the hop the staff were friendly. We were a little early and they had an opening so they let us tee off. Course is a little challenging but not so hard you cant injoy yourself. The cart girl was very friendly and we saw her every three holes or so. Some courses you only see them twice in an 18. Play there you won't be disappointed.
When I showed up to register the guy at the computer said three other groups just registered under my name and tee time. Not sure how this could've happened.
Lovely course nice mix of holes
Enjoyed our golf day. Course was busy, as to be expected as the weather was good. Nice mix of long and short holes and the course was in good condition. Only complaint was the rough was a little long and very easy to loose a golf ball in. Had a great day.
