Good value
Good value for the price. Conditions were pretty good. Tee boxes were a little uneven in spots but other than that, decent course.
Good shape, Greens hard to judge
I think great patience and practice are needed to putt it well. The greens are gentle, and fast yet have no flat surfaces. Fast like PGA or a billiard table but designed by someone on magic mushrooms ~~.
The fairways and adjacent ones are generous with nice views.
Great Value
Played a twilight fee round at 4pm and played in just over 4 hours. Greens were fast, firm and in very good shape.
Mosquitoes, Mosquitoes, Mosquitoes, and more Mosquitoes
I played it yesterday May 30, 2023 and almost all holes were unbearable to play with the mosquitoes! Golf is hard as it is, imagine being attacked by 1000's of mosquitoes while try to swing almost at every hole!
For me Royal Stouffville is known for it's mosquitoes on the 18th tee box throught out the years but yesterday was something that I have not ever experienced before. Almost every whole, me and all other golfers were attacked by Mosquitoes!. It was Unbearable! Something needs to be done.
Great value
This course is one of my go-to courses. The only complaint that I have is the lack of a driving range/warm up net but the everything else is right on par for the price you pay.

Royal Stouffville - excellent private course near Markham
Always enjoyed the staff and organization.
Week managed and friendly players and staff.
Good pace of play and marshalls very helpful.
My only concern is restaurant food quality. Other players share this concern.
Course is always in good condition except tee areas need regular maintenance.
If you require a cart due to physical problems, be aware they don't allow you to get anywhere near a green and demand you stay on the cart paths at times (discouraging you playing on their course). .
Very good golf course
We had a lot of fun at Royal Stouffville! It is close to my house, in a convenient location. The prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly, the food is delicious. For sure, we will come back.
