About
Originally a 9-hole course, an additional nine holes were added in 1993, making this a very challenging 18-hole layout with a few monster holes from the back tees (6,721 yards). The course features wide, tree-lined fairways and small greens, as well as water that comes into play on almost half of the holes.
One local told us that short-iron play was important; however, that’s hard to imagine considering the length of some of the holes. Three holes stand out from the tips: Two par 5s play 600 yards or better (No. 11 is 643 yards), and No. 3, a 247-yard par 3. The rest of the layout is of a more reasonable length, particularly from the middle tees, where there are a few short par 5s under 500 yards as well as par 4s around the 300-yard range.
Getting there : From Houston, take Hwy. 290 west and turn right on FM 577. Turn right on Hwy. 105. The course is located 2.5 miles away on the left-hand side of the road.

Nice course but...
Very nice course. Good condition, greens in very good shape. Course is short but challenging. No marshaling at all. As a single player, I sat behind a group of 6 all day. Never offered to let me play through because they were waiting too. Shouldn’t matter.
hard winter
course had a few issues but very playable. they are loosing a couple of greens but that seems to be fairly common this spring

Good course and club for the fee. The layout is a bit confusing, but it has excellent signage so one should not get lost. The rolling hills are nice. I plan to return many times more.

Really Nice Course!
Staff were phenomenal! Course is I really good shape considering the weather we have had. Practice greens were recovering and sanded and range was mats only. Made the 70 trip to play and will probably do it again!

Will Be Back
This course had some character. Plenty of trees and water to make it a bit of a challenge and greens were smallish targets. Downwind shots can be difficult to hold the greens. Played in about 2:45 on a Tuesday, 10am tee time and never had anyone behind me and no one in front of me until 17. Girl in the pro shop was a sweetie!

Fivesomes Galore
Course was not in great shape, though the greens were fine overall. The place was a bit soggy despite the lack of rain recently (that I'm aware of anyway). Fivesomes were everywhere and not once did they offer to let me play throiugh, most likely because I was walking (be aware that the GolfNow rate is a walking rate!). Course was mostly unremarkable, a few holes were a bit odd in design. Personally, the course didn't fit me eye much. I wouldn't suggest playing there except as a cheap round if you are in the area.

Not worth ghd drive.
Cart not included in Golf Niw pricing. "Hot Deal of Day" price of $35 ok but had to pay $13 each at the course after prepaid Golf Now not a deal at all. Pace of play slow. Fairways are narrow and players from other holes are always in you fairway. Slow groups not letting people through. Course layout is poor.

Good course, but......
Played here many times and has always been enjoyable but this time we were charged an extra "trail fee" of $10......without renting a cart from you. Ridiculous! This will affect how much we play here. There are better courses around for this price and we certianly dont mind driving.

Cart not included in rate (in August, in TX??)
Interesting layout with a few unusual holes. All in all, enjoyed the course. But my issues were: 1) masks not worn by employees or members inside clubhouse; 2) cart not included in fee (in August in Texas, really?); 3) no marshalls; and 4) two groups of members allowed to cut in front of us after 9 holes.
If you're worried about masks, curl up in the fetal position and STAY HOME!

Average at best
This course was just ok. The pace was good but the course is confusing and sometimes it seemed you were driving backwards to get to the next hole. They need signs to tell you where to go. The greens were in rough shape and burned around the edges. Also one of the only courses where a big oak tree is in the middle of the fairway on multiple holes. I also didn’t like how you pay on Golfnow for 18 holes and a cart but then when you get there they say the cart wasn’t included and cost $26 extra. Pretty ridiculous there. All in all I’d say this place is ok but I won’t pay the money to go back. There are way better courses to play on.

Great Hidden Gem
I was looking for a place to play as my course was closed for a tournament. Brenham CC had good reviews so I booked a tee time. The Pro Shop staff were friendly and very helpful showing me where everything was. The course was well laid out and presented some challenges, especially the downhill 198 yard par 4. The fairways were well maintained with not much rough. Be forewarned that if you get past the rough you are in native gras area and once you find your ball you will have a challenging shot. The greens were in great shape and putted true. They were a little slower than what I am use to. I played as a single behind several twosomes but still finished in 3hr 20 min, so excellent pace of play.
Overall this is a good value for your money and an enjoyable layout.
