Course is going down hill
Played this course years ago and decided to go play it again today. Course was super wet but you cant fault anyone except for mother nature for that. The course needs some weed treatment as it is getting overun. They cut the course prior to my round but the tee box grass was still way to long. Clubhouse is getting run down and walkway out front and around clubhouse are overgrown with weeds. Flower beds havent been touched for some time theoughout the course. This used to be a really enjoyable short track but has really gone down hill the last few years.
General feelings
This course was a favorite in the past but has now degraded to a less than desirable...The fairways and rough sections are poorly cut, making my round tiring and not as enjoyable.
A lot of fun with good friends
Life was meant for good friends and great adventures. Obviously we all love to play golf and more importantly we enjoy having fun on the golf course.
End of season
Course is in great shape. It's closing up into a week. Greens have been top dressed with sand and putting is really true. Fairways have been cut short and defined well.
Was only able to play nine holes due to a very cold windy day. Got a raincheck for next year.
Very good conditions
Only issue encountered were a few of the greens on the front need some work. Fairways were excellent.
Sand Hills Golf Resort
This is only the 2nd time playing this course but it has quickly become my favourite course. I’m NOT a great golfer however I have played in excess of 50 courses and I can honestly say that I have rarely if ever played a course so well maintained. I love the layout and the challenge of this course.
SHORT AND SWEET
GREAT SHORT TRACT, GOOD FAIRWAYS ,SMOOTH GREENS .WISH THEY WOULD FIX THE POT HOLES ON THE CARTPATH?
