Where’s the grass
If you like cement this is the place for you
I realize it’s been hot however I play 3 to 4 times a week at different courses and they have faired ok with watering etc
This is a definite pass, plenty of other playable courses around
Burnt course with hard clay
This course is convenient to me, however for the $$ paid their is much better value and course conditions elsewhere . Grass is burnt with hard clay surface lies everywheres, and their is fly infestation on a number of greens. Hole 5 South being the worst
Course was dried up
Staff are friendly.
A bit of a drive from Toronto to this course. (70KM).
Walking front 9 is fine, but once you have to cross over to walk the back 9, its pretty lengthy and exhausting...
A good 5-10 mins walk I'd say.
Course has decent challenges.
Course condition was very dry and greens were rolling off easily.
Possibly lack of rain.
Great Course, Horrendous Conditions
Like the title say, great course, pretty good layout (other than the 5 minute cart ride to the back 9- don’t walk this course if you plan on playing the North side) but my god it must have be the worst conditioned course I’ve played in my lifetime. The greens, awful. The grass, almost non existent. If you like dead grass and concrete dirt this is the place for you.
Way overpriced for the condition, if it was in good condition (which hopefully this course sees some love) I would highly recommend it. But until then, play elsewhere.
Staff, absolutely amazing as well.
Not good
Course is completely dried out, tee boxes and fairways. The greens are watered however the he green side bunkers are caked hard.
I played this course quite often a few years back before Golf North had taken over the operation and can't believe how badly maintained the course is now.
no sign start 10 hole
9 hole finish
start 10 hole but 10 hole start across the street
it.s terrible 10 hole
very dangerous and It was walking to hard
about 10 minutes walking. ,
also I can.t find sign.
I don.want go there.
Not a walkable course
North and south course is separated by a 15 min walk pathway. The 9 holes in the north side are very tough to walk. Maintenance on the course was not great. All the grass seems dried out.
Course badly maintained
For the price this course was horribly maintained.
Fairways were all dead, tee decks completely uneven, and poor greens
Fairways were very yellow and dry. Must have not watered because it looked like a cow pasture. Broke a tee trying to put in ground at a block

Very nice track but lacking water and it shows.
The course today was very dry in places also being a senior I needed a golf cart and was surprised to pay over 27.00 and no senior discount
Use your course 150 and 100 yard markers because your Garmin will not work here.
This course is fun to play as it offers a range of golf shots on each hole. This course has an Ontario Golf Association rating of 65 from the blue tees where I played, but there is no slope rating. The greens were good but requires a run up approach as some greens don't hold well (32C while playing with light winds and sun today). Two things that I would suggest is:
1) There needs to be some signage mainly on the back nine (North Course holes 10 to 18) as to where the next tee is, especially from the 11th green to 12th tee and from the 16th to 17th as the 18th tee is behind the 16th green and realized I was about to play the wrong hole.
2) The course has been redeveloped since the new club house was built a few years ago, however the holes are completely in a different order and your garmin distances will not work now, For example the current 8th and 9th holes were formerly the first and second holes. (So I took off the Garmin and played some old school golf).
Lastly, I am on a fitness program choice now and always walk, but the distance from the ninth green to the tenth is a good 15 minute brisk walk. So be prepared for the group behind you to pass you if you are walking to the tenth tee.
Ultimately, I scored pretty well in the mid 70s, enjoyed golfing with two different couples as the first couple played the south front nine twice and I learned that at 82 and 90 years old the lovely couple I played the north nine are truly inspiring.
