Concrete Playground
We arrived for our twosome at 8:24 and were told that we had to play the front 9 twice due to a lady’s league that was playing on the back 9.. then we ran into the group behind us and they were told that they’d be allowed to play the entire course, not just the front 9. That was quite the frustrating moment. I also threw out my back trying to hit shots off their concrete fairways, all while trying to rush my shot to avoid getting hit by the sprinklers. Great time.
Great beginner course
Great course for beginners, good value for what you're paying with pretty straight forward holes.
Foxbridge GC
the course was very very dry. Some T-Boxes were scorched dry. fairways were brown and dry. Greens were better, but many bare spots.
The layout of the North Nine changed over the past couple years, so our GPS app could not give accurate distances.
I'd play again, but only after the weather softens up/ greens up the course.
Poor conditions
The course is currently in brutal shape. I know there has been a bit of a drought but it is clear that they do not have any proper irrigation. There was very little grass and you couldn't really determine what was fairway and rough because it was all dead grass. We were also waiting at every single tee box for at least one group and at some sections we were waiting for 2 groups to tee off. It's a fairly cheap course but I would still expect better conditions for the cost.
Where’s the grass
If you like cement this is the place for you
I realize it’s been hot however I play 3 to 4 times a week at different courses and they have faired ok with watering etc
This is a definite pass, plenty of other playable courses around
Burnt course with hard clay
This course is convenient to me, however for the $$ paid their is much better value and course conditions elsewhere . Grass is burnt with hard clay surface lies everywheres, and their is fly infestation on a number of greens. Hole 5 South being the worst
Course was dried up
Staff are friendly.
A bit of a drive from Toronto to this course. (70KM).
Walking front 9 is fine, but once you have to cross over to walk the back 9, its pretty lengthy and exhausting...
A good 5-10 mins walk I'd say.
Course has decent challenges.
Course condition was very dry and greens were rolling off easily.
Possibly lack of rain.
Great Course, Horrendous Conditions
Like the title say, great course, pretty good layout (other than the 5 minute cart ride to the back 9- don’t walk this course if you plan on playing the North side) but my god it must have be the worst conditioned course I’ve played in my lifetime. The greens, awful. The grass, almost non existent. If you like dead grass and concrete dirt this is the place for you.
Way overpriced for the condition, if it was in good condition (which hopefully this course sees some love) I would highly recommend it. But until then, play elsewhere.
Staff, absolutely amazing as well.
Not good
Course is completely dried out, tee boxes and fairways. The greens are watered however the he green side bunkers are caked hard.
I played this course quite often a few years back before Golf North had taken over the operation and can't believe how badly maintained the course is now.
no sign start 10 hole
9 hole finish
start 10 hole but 10 hole start across the street
it.s terrible 10 hole
very dangerous and It was walking to hard
about 10 minutes walking. ,
also I can.t find sign.
I don.want go there.
Not a walkable course
North and south course is separated by a 15 min walk pathway. The 9 holes in the north side are very tough to walk. Maintenance on the course was not great. All the grass seems dried out.
Course badly maintained
For the price this course was horribly maintained.
Fairways were all dead, tee decks completely uneven, and poor greens
