Needs some work
Course has gone through major changes over last few years. Fairways quite rough in places. Not a very smooth ride in the cart. Greens generally in good condition.
The North and South is very different. Some of the cart path still needs a lot if work. The course is fairly easy to play
fun course
Greens still inconsistent due to spring conditions
Simple fun course
Read a bunch of the reviews on here and it inspired to be write something.
This is a short executive course that is $25 for 9 and even less if you play twilight. Guys are reviewing this course as if they expect USGA quality. Take it easy boys. If you want a simple fun round, play here. Otherwise for pay $80+ somewhere else
Great value
I use to play foxbridge all the time 5-8 years ago. I moved away. I came back and thought it was in great shape. Nice carts. Everything was an upgrade.
21st Century
What course in the 21st century does not accept anything but cash at the beverage cart. Most courses are going cashless and Foxbridge continues to live in the past. No forewarning at the clubhouse about it either. Halfway house had sign in the window “back in 10 minutes” for 2 hours.
Lots of work still needed
Some fairways and greens are in rough condition. Construction still ongoing. It may be a while till this course is in really good shape. I’d go back just to get practice rounds in. The greens were very fast and challenging. The staff is very friendly.
Horrible Shape
Felt like half this course was under repair / a hazard. Multiple greens in rough shape, with rock solid concrete like fairways. Nothing annoys me more than hitting a great tee shot in the fairway only to have to hit the next shot off rock hard dirt. When it happens multiple times in a round, it just becomes increasingly dissatisfying. Would of had a better time playing mini-putt with friends. Won't be back, ever.
Slow slow slow
Nice clubhouse friendly staff but omg it's the slowest golf I've ever played, and 2 nines on opposite sides of the road. If u aren't in a hurry, come play here, 5 somes, 6 somes, families walking and teaching there kids while u wait, just not my thing!
Not worth the drive
Two issues: one) GPS apps don't work. Staff at the proshop told us that changes were made to the sequence of holes. I could have lived with that as I am not a pro golfer by any means but 3 holes in and the course became a bit confusing. I'm sure it's great for locals, not to outsiders. Two) speaking of locals, it's a free for all from the first tee to the 18th hole. We had a confirmed booking but one group jumped ahead of us. Then another group of 4 (who are obviously locals) who were late for their tee time, hugged the first tee. No starter in sight. Imagine two foursomes ahead of us who played like the course was their own playground, doing mulligans and looking for their balls forever. For 18 holes, and no marshall, a par-68 course took 4.5 hours to complete. Will never play this course again, unless I move to Uxbridge. In the meantime, I'll just the let the locals enjoy it.
Great value!
The course is in great shape and the staff are very friendly. Great bang for the buck and great pace of play.
The course has great features
It's a good course to play particularly for seniors.
The putting greens are mostly tricky and challenging.
It was OK
The course was reasonably maintained in spite of the construction and the hard bunkers that we choose not to play anyways because of the wet surface that day. The course itself was not particularly challenging but was fun for us to play at a leisurely pace and to enjoy the fall colors.
The quality of the driving range and range balls were sub par, but better than nothing if you needed to warm up before the round.
I was impressed that the cart had a ball / club washer on board!
It was not worth the drive for us from Toronto to play this course, but I would recommend this course anyways with this caveat in mind for beginners and seniors who might appreciate the wide fairways and leisurely pace of play:))
Good course
I love this course
wide fairway, beautiful scene ,enjoying riding
