Not worth the drive
Two issues: one) GPS apps don't work. Staff at the proshop told us that changes were made to the sequence of holes. I could have lived with that as I am not a pro golfer by any means but 3 holes in and the course became a bit confusing. I'm sure it's great for locals, not to outsiders. Two) speaking of locals, it's a free for all from the first tee to the 18th hole. We had a confirmed booking but one group jumped ahead of us. Then another group of 4 (who are obviously locals) who were late for their tee time, hugged the first tee. No starter in sight. Imagine two foursomes ahead of us who played like the course was their own playground, doing mulligans and looking for their balls forever. For 18 holes, and no marshall, a par-68 course took 4.5 hours to complete. Will never play this course again, unless I move to Uxbridge. In the meantime, I'll just the let the locals enjoy it.
Great value!
The course is in great shape and the staff are very friendly. Great bang for the buck and great pace of play.
The course has great features
It's a good course to play particularly for seniors.
The putting greens are mostly tricky and challenging.
It was OK
The course was reasonably maintained in spite of the construction and the hard bunkers that we choose not to play anyways because of the wet surface that day. The course itself was not particularly challenging but was fun for us to play at a leisurely pace and to enjoy the fall colors.
The quality of the driving range and range balls were sub par, but better than nothing if you needed to warm up before the round.
I was impressed that the cart had a ball / club washer on board!
It was not worth the drive for us from Toronto to play this course, but I would recommend this course anyways with this caveat in mind for beginners and seniors who might appreciate the wide fairways and leisurely pace of play:))
Good course
I love this course
wide fairway, beautiful scene ,enjoying riding
value for money
I read some of the reviews. Many think it's too short, but playing from back tees makes it quite challenging, though in truth, the back tees are only 10-15 yards longer on most holes. rough is really penal but fairways are generously wide. Greens are in great shape. Most renovations seem to be done. Other golfers (threesome and foursome) allowed us to play through.
courteous staff too.
Howie Kamen
I enjoyed the course very much. Each hole was great. I thought it was fantastic that a great number of holes had elevated greens, making your club selection to the green difficult at times. Traps were in excellent condition. Greens were very good, too. Well kept tee boxes, too.
Wait till next season
I'm Course is undergoing major renovations, first 9 was in terrible shape but the North 9 was in fabulous shape... Great for a nine on the north course.
Good short course....great back nine
If the the front nine could be like the back nine...this could be a great course.
In need of another 300 yds per nine....but overall....a nice place.
Great pace and friendly people
This course is great for the price
Last time, I played this course was about 6 - 7 years ago. I was happily surprised how nice the course is. Fairways were lush and greens were solid.
Great job guys.
Good course, good value
Although reduced in length, it is decent game of golf. Greens were in great shape...
Neat little course
My son and I drove up to Uxbridge from Toronto to play here and quite enjoyed it. Did a quick bucket of balls at the driving range first to warm up. Played the South Nine and was quite enjoyable. Went to play the North Nine. Had to cross the Regional road and drive half a mile through a forest and behind a new subdivision to get to #10 (They provide courtesy carts for those walking) Kind of odd but I thought it was really neat. Greens played fair, fairways were well maintained and most holes are pretty generous. Will be back
Good course
I play this course second time, beautiful scenery and good greens. Will come back again.
Good course
It's no longer a par 72 but a par 68. It's a nice short course and a good value for money. Good for begginers and seniors and women. It's a bust course though and you can get stuck with some slow pace of play.
Good value for price
Challenging course with good value for the price paid.
May Long Weekend
My complaints about the course, would be the fact that it is under construction and that the greens are not in the best of shape, i.e. the fairway grass was a little too long and the putting green seemed to have a lot of winter kill in places.
Staff were very friendly, the course itself was clean and the flow of play very good.
Decent little course
I usually golf here 4 times a year and it's a great little track. Not too long but a fun course with great friendly staff......
A very nice course
Ever played Foxbridge until last Saturday and was pleasantly surprised. Course was in great shape, staff was friendly and weather was good.
We are already planning another game for next Saturday.......... go away rain.
Great course
Have played this course many times and always enjoy. Fun to play and the staff are super friendly. Parts of the course can be quite tricky but good for all level of players from beginner to expert.
Greens are immaculate in condition and course conditions, in general, are excellent. Very good value. Watch the water to the left on whole # 3 on the south course. Not visible from the tee. Best to stay right. New par 3's are very challenging a well protected by bunkers. A must play course.
This course has great features
It's a pretty little course, good condition, a bit confusing on the North Course with lots of construction going on. We had a great time.
