Twenty Valley Golf and Country Club
About
Located in Vineland atop the scenic Niagara Escarpment, Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club takes its name from the 20-mile creek, which comes into play on a number of holes, that carved the valley that runs through the golf course. The idyllic, rolling landscape provides plenty of dramatic elevation changes that cause tricky uneven lies throughout. The layout features large, undulating greens that are known to move fast and several strategically placed bunkers. Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th, which plays uphill and over the Twenty River to a medium-sized green that is precariously perched on top of a stone wall.

Great Experience!
Excellent value for a difficult and well manicured course! Challenging pin placements due to Club Championships. Pace of play was much slower than I like due to a playoff in the tournament causing a backup for green fee players. Definitely recommend this course!
Awesome course.
First time being back in a couple years, since I was a member. The staff are just as friendly as I remember, and the course was in excellent shape. The greens were rolling fast and I can’t say enough about the attention to detail by the grounds crew as they were readying things for the upcoming CC’s. Definitely will be returning, and it makes me wish I didn’t move out of the area!
My First Experience At Twenty Valley!
My Father and I booked online, 18 holes with cart for a tee time of 1:48pm. We arrive at around 1:10pm and make our way to the pro shop! As we set up our bags inside our cart with my name and start time on the cart, a gentleman who works there by the name of Peter suggests if we’d like to start earlier to talk the starter! We got paired up with a gentleman and the three of us play 18 together. We had an absolute blast and decided to stay for a pint and beer special 15$+. Burger was delicious and the beer was cold. An amazing first experience and cannot wait to go back!
Quirky and fun
Nice track - one of the better and more interesting ones in Niagara. It has quite a lot of undulation and blind tee shots, which adds to the difficulty but it is very enjoyable.
Conditions are decent enough. Greens are relatively fast but nothing compared with Grand Niagara or Lookout Point.
I’d consider this place as a step below these two courses in the area but at such a cheap price, it’s very good value for money.
Greta shape
We played early on a Saturday morning
Started on hole number 9.
Marshall’s and staff are very friendly
Course was in fantastic shape .
This course is tough this year
Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed the course. This is an interesting layout and there are not a lot of holes with a straight forward up and down format. A great number of the greens are undulating AND this year the greens crew have set them up to be very fast. The par 5 finishing hole is really cool. Twenty Valley turns 60 this year and they’ve done a great job in keeping it in shape and challenging.
Overbearing staff and course Marshall.
Upon arrival my playing partner and I were booked as a twosome. We went over to the practice green where upon seeing my partners cooler a man practicing on the green himself proceeded to announce that he was a working staff member, and that he would be checking our coolers for any presumed alcohol we may have in our coolers. I proceeded to tell him that I did and I would take the items out and leave them in my car. Then I asked him if he was within his right to check our coolers based on an assumption that we had alcohol in our coolers and if they carried out this kind of
practice with everyone that brought coolers to the course. Especially when it was 43 degrees with the humidity. Well, I think my asking him if he was within his right to do so rubbed him the wrong way. He and his partner left the practice green and proceeded to tee off and play as far as we knew. 5-10 minutes later we teed off and were asked by the starter if we had anything in our coolers and we obliged him and he was extremely curteous and professional about it and let us proceed to play. We were scheduled as a twosome and played as such without a wimper from the starter. 4 holes into the round with a foursome a full hole behind us and the aforementioned club worker from the practice green in the
group in front of us we were enjoying our round. All of a
sudden the course Marshall comes directly to us and says we are playing at a slow pace and need to pick up the pace for no apparent reason other than to harass us on behalf what we can only assume was because of his co-workers input and his apparent need to show us his authority at the course. Needless to say heated words were exchanged between my playing partner and the Marshall for no good reason and left a bad taste and experience of the round in our minds. We are paying customers and deserve the opportunity to enjoy a great day of golf without any balogny or harassment because someone’s authority was questioned. Love the sport but can’t stand the eletist attitude of some retired people who play free golf that think their poop is not to be questioned. That’s our review.
Best kept secret
Absolutely amazing, an absolute gem I could play there everyday. I’ve been a member of the CPGA for 25 years the conditions are supreme. Not playing the Valley is a mistake. Best kept secret in Niagara.
Btw the Head Professional is amongst the top 5 PGA members in Canada. That says it all right there.
Pace of Play
Pace of play was a little slow today but we were two guys playing behind a foursome. Nevertheless the marshall took note and made things move along better for us in the back nine. All in all, a very enjoyable day. Greens were fast!!
Great day, beautiful course
We all had a great day as the course was well maintained. Pace was a little slow at a couple holes however that was due to the groups in front of us and not the course. Fairways and rough were very well maintained as were the greens. Great value for the price. Highly recommend as it is a tough course and forces you to think about ball placement often.
An enjoyable round
A challenging course that is in very good condition and was an outstanding value. I will be back for sure. First time playing this course, I was very pleased.
Interesting course
If you have never played here before you will find it interesting. Some blind shots some short lay ups some wide open space. A little course knowledge would go along way here as the scorecard is vague on what is in store for you. Greens are in great shape and I will go back.
Slow Round
The course was well kept.. the rough is unforgiving if you hit off the fairway. Each hole was a challenge and the elevation changes on some were awesome. A 5 hour round is a bit much though on a hot day. We didn’t see a marshall out on the course, it was Men’s league and the pace of play was pretty slow.. we waited on every hole. We will play it again and will recommend as we really enjoyed the course.. will make sure there are no leagues next time. Carts say course maximum should be 4 hours 15 minutes..
Slow play long weekend
Weather was amazing. Course in good shape. Pins in tough placemebt for a busy long weekend Sunday. Easier spots might have helped pace of play.
Very slow 5 hr round.
Canada day
Great round friendly staff that went out of there way to make the day enjoyable. Highly recommend this course to others a gem in the Niagara peninsula
