Nice cottage golf.
Lovely old course I believe originally Thompson & Co. design late 1920's. Totally drivable par 4's and who doesn't like that.
Green's are tiny of course so holding greens is going to be a challenge and going over the back is going to lose you strokes. So come up short if you are doubting your yardage.
For the price it's a great round. Not many courses left at this price point anymore.
would be a good deal if power carts were reasonable
it was $20 per person to use one power cart - kinda took away from the good golfnow deal...maybe the price could include riding so there'd be no surprises
Great fun course
Marlwood is my favourite. Staff is always very chill, course is clean and tidy. A lot of par 4s, short par 4s. Good for a new golfer or a not so experienced golfer. But will definitely lose some balls. Best price in Town, worth the drive from Toronto.
Every Day is a Great Day for Golf
The course is in great condition for early in the season. The pace was great and the staff are friendly. My only complaint as a girl no washrooms available as the clubhouse was closed after my first 9 holes and no portapotties were installed yet. The golf was great, so nice to be out again. I highly recommend playing this course, it is very walkable for those who like to walk.
Overbooked. Finish only 9 holes, starting at 3:30PM
Golf course was externally overbooked. Despite starting at around 3:30PM, we only finished 9 holes, because long wait after every hole. Also they kicked us out at 7PM saying that its getting dark. We cannot use carts any more. 4 of us pay lots of money just to play 9 holes. I will not go there any more.
Over booked
Too busy, 10 minute wait on each hole. Only finished 13 holes in 4 hours.
