Always a Joy to play here
I enjoy coming to Grey Silo. I don’t come that often and it has been awhile. Course was I. Great shape
Slow starting
By 3:00, starter was behind by 2 tee slots. We teed off 30 minutes late and waited on every hole on the back 9.
Disappointing greens
I haven't played here for the past 2 years and wonder what has happened to this reputable course. More than anything else, the greens were terribly damaged. It looked like they were attacked by plant cancer or something. To make it worse, they were aerated, which made putting a bumpy ride. I realized what putting means to golf...
Golf course
They charged too much money for what we got! They air rated the greens without notifying us as golfers and you couldn’t putt because of it !
This is crap !
We should have been given a discount because of the greens conditions!!
Unfortunate!!!!
This was one of my favourite courses to play in the past the recent conditions of dried out greens in mid August aeration of the green was a huge disappointment and no advisory on the Golf Now Booking site.. I wouldn’t have played it if I knew it was aerated

Lower your rates if those are the conditions being played that’s not premium pricing
Course getting a little worn !
Love playing this course but found that the greens were getting dried out with lots of bare patches. There is also a moss that is starting to take over the greens. Got to get this under control !!! Pace was a little slow and had to wait for carts but that seems to be the norm for this course. *person who places the flags on the green's is obviously not a golfer because most of the flags were placed where all the bare patches were instead of the much nicer parts of the greens ??
Fun layout
Always like this layout. Greens were a little beat up, more than I remember for Grey Silo but still rolled nicely for the most part.

Course was in great shape, greens were crazy fast!
We tee d off early so pace was great. It can be so slow if you play later on.

Was Better
Please go back to 10 minutes between Tee Times, way less waiting. You really should rake the traps in the morning, quite a few sprinklers are leaking on the fairway, has to move my ball. Greens were nice, but not many players fixing their ball marks. Good pro shop staff, limited beer selection on the cart.
Don't buy hot deals until the last minute
We had a storm hit which had multiple lightning strikes in the area. Our tee time was 5:22 pm and the storm hit around 4 pm. Hot deals don't refund due to weather so I was out $68 dollars. Lesson learned, that's the last time GolfNow burns me
