Enjoyed the the set up of the course.
Great course to play. Would do it again when there wasn't cart path only. another problem that there was, there wasn't any bathrooms after the ninth hole. No concession stand or anything after nine. Next bathroom wasn't until the 15 to 16 tee box.
Wife wasn't to happy about it. Found a port-a potty on one of the construction site's of the new house's being built on hole 14.. Put out a few more bathrooms and also inform the beverage cart girls where the bathroom are. couldn't get a answer as to where one was.
December 3
I was a little leery of playing this course due to the reputation of the management company. Now, I'm upset with myself that I haven't played there a lot more. Course has a very nice layout, great views and the greens for December 3rd were great. I'll definitely be going back and will recommend anyone who hasn't played here, to make sure they do.
Challenging, stunning views, fun course to play
This was my first time to play at the Golf Club of Kansas. I found the course to be challenging but loved it. Many beautiful views in the hills, although it made for a few blind shots. Course condition very good except the greens seemed slow and left indents from feet when walking on them. May just be the time of year. I would definitely recommend it and play here again!
not quite completed
there are parts of the course which are not completed yet with gravel cart paths. it's just a bit strange course with holes they tried to make unique but it just ended up too much, a little strange.
Very good fall conditions
Played back one set of tees because it was a little more crowded on a Sunday afternoon and that minimized the wait a little more for each hole. Definitely made it more challenging than the only other time I have played this course
great course, challenging layout
Found a tee time for this course at the last second and was not disappointed. Been wanting to play this course fir years now. It is a fun, yet challenging layout that fits any level of player. Staff was super friendly. Well definitely go back again
good course, and now at the right price
Really nice course, very challenging, intimidating views and perspectives from most all teeboxes.
Postcard scenery!
Be accurate or you will get yourself in trouble. I played with one of the menbers and he gave me some pointers/advise on some of the challenging holes. I will definitely be back to try to conquer the quarry!
CHALLENGING!!! BEAUTIFUL!!
Since this course opened several years ago I have made sure to play this course when I get chance with my father. My father and I both agree this course is one of the finest golf clubs in the Kansas city area , if not one of our favorites in the Midwest.
This course is probably one of the most challenging courses in the area by far.....but at least it's beautiful. Its really different when you compare to typical courses in Kansas it feels as if you are in the lakes of the ozarks or Branson because of all the unjulation and rock walls. The greens were pure and true especially for that this time of year (winter). If you have never played here be sure to pack some extra balls because when it gets windy out there it can be a real monster.
The staff was very friendly they really made my father and i feel as if we were members at a Private Club. v The clubhouse is nothing spectacular and does not do this course justice. Overall this a great course and I can't wait to play again!!!
