River Ridge Golf Course

Yesterday 5 1/2 hrs. Group had a tee time 2 minutes before us??? They played 2 two weeks earlier and left after 12 house because of pace of play! Too bad nice course but way to much waiting at the tee boxes!

The course is a fun course to play.There is a variety of holes so you use a variety of clubs. It is a fair price to pay for a course that is in good shape

Tee boxes are beat up and aerated greens. It’s the end of the season and I would have loved to play this course when it’s nice.

Course, including fairways, tees and rough immediately adjacent to fairways was in great shape. Unfortunately, they had just aerated and spread sand all over the greens, and as a result, they were horrible. However, this is to be expected at all courses around this time of year in order to maintain the greens. It was just unfortunate for us that it had occurred shortly before we played.

While most courses fairways were burnt because of the heat this year ,River Ridge was perfect. The Fairways were great and Greens very receptive. Great food , Enjoyable day

They game was very slow, took 6 hours for 18 holes, we all had hot dogs from the cart and all got food poisoning. Beautiful course however.

Previous rounds here were from the white & blue tees, the black @ 6700 yards / 73 rating / 129 slope are 700 yards longer than blue & 950 yards longer than whites making for a much more challenging test.

Interestingly our group thought the main challenge today was the diabolical pin placements in several holes combined with breezy conditions to put a premium mid iron approach shots. Course conditions were good with the exceptIon of tee boxes which were nearly bare on several holes & a couple of bunkers that had not been raked in days.

Overall, black tees are recommended for better golfers.

What a great day of golf. The course was in great shape

There was a 5 some ahead of us. Backed up play easily 4 hour round turned into 5 hour. Needed a ranger

First time playing, good layout, front 9 is pretty open, back nine holes are tree lined & more challenging. Greens were quick but had many ball pitch marks . Course is pretty short, under 6000 from whites, 6300 from blue. Condition was good for how hot & dry it's been. Tee'd off at noon on Saturday, played in 3:45 as a 2 some playing through half a dozen groups. ** Course has just joined golfnow & the tee times were not captured in their computer. ** Friendly staff accepted the golfnow reservation & squeezed us without issue.

This is a great course it is challenging for both beginners and advanced players

My buddy and I were all by ourselves for the entire round for 18 holes on a Saturday afternoon in near perfect conditions. Our below average play caused us to take nearly 4 hours to play the round. If we had played well, we would have finished in practically three hours.

I play here often and I enjoy this course thoroughly. I always find the course well maintained and very enjoyable. I played the front nine on the twilight rate.

I’ve played this course many times over the years. Layout is nice, conditions are average, but pace of play is a major problem. The last 3 rounds that I played were all 5 plus hours. It’s just unacceptable to have a 5+ hour on a Wednesday morning - not once was a ranger or any staff attempting to move play along. Worst part was the pro/staff member was playing in the group holding up the entire course. Won’t be back.
