Windham Golf Course

They have made some good improvements, but as a single, I got placed behind a five-some with foursome in front of them. Incredibly slow play for a Monday + the cart got stuck between 10/11. Had to walk off and abandon the round. Not a good experience. For $55 on a Monday, you can do much better somewhere else.

Course is aesthetically appealing. Nice fairways and tees, but greens are another story.

You dont want to putt from above the hole on any green, as they are so fast the ball will roll off the green. Many of the greens are mounded which is ok, but landing a pitch can easily result in a runoff.

I would rate the course much higher if they let the greens get a little "fuzzier" or have taller grass. Then putting would not be such a challenge, and sometimes impossible for scoring.

Overall, I wont play the course again, unless the greens have better surfacing. If improved, I'd play weekly.

I do like playing at Windham but there is a lot of people playing that should not be on the golf course. To be honest they suck, hit three four balls and don't let you go by. This is ridiculous. That's my biggest negative.

Night and day difference from the way I remember it from years back. Conditions were great. Steak in the restaurant afterwards was great. Can’t wait to go back

I played Windham back in 2022, and a trip back was not on my must do list I must admit. However, I was looking to get out on a cart before 100 degree temps were about to roll into the state, so I booked a tee time at 7:40 Tuesday morning just to get out and play. I hadn't realized that they were putting work into the course, and was very pleasantly surprised at the conditions. The place looks great, the greens rolled very true! I will definitely be adding this course now to my rotation.
