Waste of time/money
Don't waste your time or money. The fairways are not maintained at all. I hit good shots, but they ricochet off weeds or rocks in the fairway. Bunkers have dirt, no real sand at all. The greens are very inconsistent, don't roll well. Like in the fairways, Putts hit weeds or rocks and veer offline even when you hit a good one. Rumor has it the course is closing soon too. It does no't seem they're doing anything to keep it open.
Lower your expectation on this course.
I didn't expect much going to this course but it was worst than I expected, if you are going to play here lower your expectation as what is a a bad course when it comes to maintenance. The greens are in worst conditon I've ever played, can't putt strait you'll hit a spot rock or weed trying to putt, and fairway is not much better, if you must pay this course, just be ready to waste your money.
This course requires good second shots to score well.
A fun course. Lots of roll because of El Paso climate. Four sets of tees so any age or any skill level is accommodated. Greens putt true with reasonable speed and minimal break. Twilight greens fees are extremely reasonable.
Course is in excellent shape. Definitely one of the better and harder courses to play. Amenities are great.
We deeply apologize you were dissatisfied with the conditions of the course. We have since hired a great course superintendent and he has done great things to make for a better experience. If you would like to address this matter some more please feel free to contact us.
