Breakfast Hill Golf Club

Currently I am a 9 handicap. The other guys in my group were an 11, 6, and 3. Non of us played to our cap. Everyone was 4 + strokes higher. This is a course that punishes miss hits off the tee and long on approach shots. I play a cut and I was out of position most of the day. I will definitely play again when I see a hot deal on GolfNow to see if I could better my score.

We booked this round on golfnow, it was for 18 w/ cart. Our tee time was 3:39pm and when we got there, we were informed we could only have a cart for 9 even thou we paid for 18. They basically said it is Golfnows fault, but regardless they could have easily made it right. But, no even thou we turned to 10 at 5:30pm on summer solstice where sunset is past 8:30 they insisted we return the carts. We drove an hour to get here, we didn't bring pull carts because the tee time was for 18 w/cart. We finished 18 at 7:40, nearly a full hour before sunset. I have never played any course where carts need to be in that early. they just wanted to go home early I suppose, but come on pay a kid $10/hr to take care of carts late night. We will not be back.

Breakfast hill hands down wins. Immaculately maintained, staff is incredibly kind, morning pace of play is great (3 hour round). Greens roll with the best of them and a good mix of scoring holes/challenging holes. I highly recommend it and you certainly won't find a better value in the area.

we were very impressed with the condition of the course...we had played breakfast hill a couple of years ago...we had to run an errand in Portsmouth so we chose BH to play before our errand. Very pleased. will definitely consider again even though it is not in our backyard...

I hadn't played Breakfast Hill in over a decade, but remembered thinking that once it matures it'll be good. And I was right...sorta. The layout has improved thanks to tweaks, tree growth and the softening that happens over the years. But sadly, the greens were very disappointing. Most every greens had large areas with bare spots. On the putting green I thought, "I hope the greens are better than this". On the 1st green I said, "I wish this green were like the putting green." And do it went. This I recommended playing here, but not before late June.

very nice staff, course, track, and staff. the starter was very helpful and personable. will definitely be back again.

Nice layout with a new challenge around every corner. I wish they were a little more sensitive with their treatment of the wetlands. Lots of trees cut down to abviously allow light onto course. Some sensitive wet areas clearly treated with roundup or other to kill all growth.

Course was good. However one player had an emergency and had to cancel. am I entitled to a refund. The pro shop told me to contact you and they would verify only 2 of us played

Nice layout, not overly difficult but not easy. Course is in great shape, most of the greens are very good, a little spotty in areas, like different kinds of grass growing. Sand traps are well maintained and not hard, like is common. Everyone from desk, ranger, bartender, and beer cart girl were very friendly.

Why have rangers if they are not going to enforce "pace of play". 3 some put the course to a stand still and the ranger only stooped to chat with them once. Absolutely ridiculous pace of play, standing around on the green and the tee box for no reason but to chat and drink beer. 4 groups behind them including us were waiting and watching the "show" 2 of us (groups) complained and the ranger didn't even turn around to look or talk to them. he kept going in the opposite direction.

As always, the course was in great shape and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Fair price.

It was our first time out this year. We played on a Monday and the course was virtually ours. The fairways, tee boxes and greens were in good condition.

Breakfast Hill is a well designed golf course. One of the better in our area.

We hope to get out on the course many times this year.

We all play our 4-5 standard courses This is a nice one to play when we can travel closer to the coastline
