Tour 18 Dallas is an ingenious compilation of the greatest golf holes in the nation, giving golfers the chance to play replica holes from 16 top courses. This one is tough -- not only because of the challenging and lengthy choice of holes that went into the design -- but especially because of the lightning-fast greens and challenging pin placements. While the conditions are probably accurate in terms of what the pros face each week, it can be quite humbling to shoot 15 strokes over your handicap because of 4- and 5-putts. The most recognizable holes at Tour 18 Dallas are the Augusta National Amen Corner replicas, which make up the final three-hole stretch.

A real review

For everyone that has made a nasty review in the last 3-4 months, you're on drugs. This course for the money is every bit worth it. Bunkers were terrible they have drainage issues and the 5" in the past two days doesn't help that issue also. One bad tee box full of weeds, fairways were mostly carpet. Some spots a but wet due to the rain but no reason to knock points. Cart girl was pretty and very nice. Staff inside was great. No way does this this course deserve the reviews I've read that have kept me from going since I moved here! Will return again!

Bunker help

Course was in fairly good shape except for the bunkers. They need to fill every bunker with fresh sand. The last 3 holes were fine but the rest were awful.

Tour 18 Aug 2022

I had not played Tour 18 in several years because the times before this the course was a little tough. I was very pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course. Tee and fairways were all good. Greens putted great although a bit hard (but it was August in Texas). OVERALL I would recommend you go play, or play again. You'll enjoy!

MUCH improved from last year

Tour18 made significant improvements to their greens. They rolled true and were in excellent shape. The course layout is challenging and fun. Pace of play was alright. There were no water coolers out on the course, but we saw the cart girl twice on both the front and back 9. It's a little pricey, but the course layout featuring holes from the PGA Tour courses is worth the money. Highly recommend playing here.

Could be better

It was a little expensive for the course conditions. The freeze this February took a toll on the course, I was expecting a lot better course conditions for the price I had to pay. It’s honestly one of those courses where you play it one time just to say you played it.

Vast Improvement

Starting with the pro shop (Joseph), Tour 18 did not disappoint. Course was wide open and pace of play was perfect. I remembered the last time I played there when the greens were less than desirable. They have fixed this issue in a huge way. Greens rolled fantastic: held shots and rolled true. Relatively fast even though they had recently been top dressed and sanded. Will play again when I have the chance. Do yourself a favor: add Tour 18 to your list of "must plays" in DFW.

Everything but the greens

The course is in good shape and challenges you! playing these 18 famous holes it really tests you mental approach and skill. However, the greens are still rough. For the $80 afternoon tee time rate the greens still having chunks of dead spots or overly sanded patches due to re-sod at this part of the year is a bit disappointing. As well there are still more than a few bunkers that are still washed out or still hold water. Ill play here again but I'm going to wait a while so the greens and bunkers are in better shape.

Not worth it

Close to $100 round. Greens are rock hard, bunkers are almost unplayable, many areas in the rough don’t have grass. I’d pay $35 for a course in that condition.

An average course, far from special

I have talked about playing Tour 18 for the better part of a decade. Well the talk is over, and short of the amazing staff, there is nothing to rave about. The course was in good or average condition. Many of the greens were average at best.

Short of the unique hole designs which many of them were plain and boring, the course isn’t all that special. Quite honestly, I wish I had saved the money and played other courses in the area.

Sad as I had such huge hopes ans dreams for this course.
