Foxwood Golf Club - White Course

My buddy and I each paid $30 for the power carts, because of COVID 19 and cleaning fees.

Ridiculous !!

Just because we have to ride separately, it’s unfair for Golfnorth to apply extra “surcharges”

We will not be returning !!

The course is in good shape, the rough was a little long in some spots, greens ok for this time of year.... Had a great round, fun course to play, but the back tee’s were closed, had to play from slivers, so kinda short

Note: due to Covid restrictions, only 1 person allowed in washroom at once, was 10 minute line up to use after first 9,

I did have golf booked the day before, but had to cancel because of weather, hope I get a refund. Today was great, and enjoyed my time in the last sun of this year.

Played with the GolfNow discount and that made the course a good value. Reasonable layout and conditions and pace of play was good for the most part. Left without lunch or a beer because bar service was so slow.

Marshall said they always book groups 8 minutes apart, no matter what. Even though the course had one 9 closed. Makes no sense. On the back nine we were so backed up that we were waiting on 4 groups ahead of us.

The wait was 20 min.late and would have been 15 more minutes.Some maintenance work was being done on the white course ,(mowing ). The course is hardly ever busy after 1:30 so maintaining could have been done.The staff finally said we could play the white course and all went well.The whole thing was poorly planned.I left feeling that they always get the $ first inconvenience everyone waiting and they do not care..Same as airlines,load them make them wait.I will be cautious when booking in the morning.The greens were good if players would take care of their green divots then the greens would be excellent,

Course was in adequate condition. Fairways and greens in good condition for the most part. Tee boxes need a bit of work and parts of the course a little rough around the edges. A nice ‘everyday’ course, but I don’t think I would pay the full $75 price tag.

I don’t personally feel the course plays to the cost of play. There are multiple tee blocks that are uneven and lots of dry spots on the course for $75 imo.

I am just a hack golfer, was there with my son and son in law, he is pretty good. I found this a tough course , lost a lot of balls in the rough or into the water. We did enjoy the course, took about 4 hours to do 18 holes

Had a good time. Greens were soft and a few holes were really tight but overall very please with our game.

I don't remember 1 flat tee box!

That is the most annoying thing when you can't find a flat area to tee from. Standing in dips, ball was either above or below your feet.

The bugs were BRUTAL! I almost walked off after the first hole. Fog your property or something. I played the red then blue and it's seemed like a really short course. Not worth the drive for me.
