Caistorville golf
A little pricy for the size and quality of the course. Conditions were moderate; pace of play was good. Not sure why every time I go the cups are full of water. Good course to practice and fine tune your game before heading out to a standard course. Nice country setting
Pretty good course.
My girlfriend and I have never been to an 18 hole course before. We went here this weekend and it was nice but the course was very repetitive. Seemed like you just hit the golf call from one side of the field to the other for 6 of the holes. Otherwise we really enjoyed it and would return for another round of golf.
Kinda Dangerous
The fairways are really narrow and the holes are really close together with barely anything dividing them which makes it a little sketchy when you're in a fairway and someone else's drive lands right next to you from another hole. Only one ball wash station had a cloth to dry and not much design to the layout of the course. Kinda confusing getting around to the holes and some you have to cross through a couple holes to get to the next. You get what you pay for here...not much.
So so
The price is good but not include pull cart fee. Also there were many users so we had to wait for our orders.
A request
Greens cut tighter to add some speed and change cup locations more often. Grass growing into cup makes it difficult to sink anything of distance.
Underwhelming in every aspect
Really disappointed in choosing Caistorville over some of the other courses in the area.
Golf course itself was horrendous- far too short (par 68), not a single level tee box, poorly laid out, bumpy greens, ground under ‘repair’ on more than a few fairways.
As far as the staff goes, we had our electric cart die out on the 8th hole. Barely made it up the 9th path and informed the owner at the turn that it was dead. He told us that we were wrong, that there was plenty of battery left and there was no way that it could be having issues because he “just bought that cart last week” (side note, cart was 10+ years old). I bet you couldn’t fathom a guess at what happened next on the 13th....
I don’t think I’ve ever felt the need to leave a negative review for somewhere but this place is just a waste of your money. Overall a very disappointing experience and I wouldn’t ever consider coming back here.
Great value when using deals. Perfect place to walk and improve your game. Nothing special, but for the price its well worth while. It is difficult to see the fairway on a lot of holes.
Out for some fun
Nice sunny day , course drier than it has been in weeks , greens were fast which was different
Some minor spots can get your ball lost if not in the fairway- other than that a good day off the couch
An ok course for the money
Course was ok but on some holes you couldn't tell the difference between the fairway and the rough. The locals need to learn basic ettiquette. Some random local drunk showed up on the first tee, and started talking to me like his buddy when I was getting ready to tee off...
This course Needs some attention
This is meant as a fun few hours of golf and is not a serious course. But the signage between holes is terrible which is especially annoying a few holes cross each other I ended up missing 2 holes on the back nine as a result. Spending $100 on a few signs would solve this issue.
Great value
For what we paid it was an excellent value. Played with my 12 year old son and this was an ideal length course. Played it while on vacation and wished it was closer to my home.
Fun course to play
I played here regularly when the course first opened and was just 9 holes , this was where I learned to play. I enjoyed playing here again after not having been here for almost 12 years. Nothing really special just fun to get out and enjoy walking and hitting some balls on a nice summer day .
For the money
For the money, you cannot complain. Course is what you would expect, considering what we paid. My only issue was with all the ball washers except 3 had no water in them, and they looked like they have not seen any for months.
great walking course
Always enjoy playing here. Not overly long but some challenging holes.
