Needs to be cheaper
Course was busy and the layout is crazy, definitely a beginner course but it's dangerous with the layout and new people. Staff were not very well trained and quite cold.
Small but challenging
I play some of the best courses both here in Canada and overseas. Caistorville is a simple layout but still requires accurate shots. Greens are better this year
Good course for beginners.
Great time
This was my first time playing on this course and I had a great time while playing. I played a solo 18 hole game. The day was not overly busy so there was plenty of time and room between players or making me feel like I had to rush at all. The staff at the end of the day was extremely pleasant and accommodating. I left there thinking how I can wait to go back.
Very bad
This course had dirty and old golf carts for 20$ each person, the course had weeds all over, terrible conditions. The pace of play was horrible 0 Marshalls out enforcing any thing. 236$ for a 4 some with carts is no where near a fair price for the condition this course is in.
Simple Layout, Great Price, Fair Play
First time playing here. I am a low handicapper who walked the course with my wife. Great rate which lead me to play my first round of the season here. Holes are overall short, but allows you to work on a variety of clubs. Staff very friendly, pace of play not too bad considering there was no Marshall’s out there. Layout not too bad, but there are a few holes that run parallel and in opposite directions, so quite hazardous at times. You need to pay a lot of attention, as it is fairly wide open and the golfers here are typically high handicappers and many struggle to keep the ball in their own fairway. The forward tees do not give much advantage at all to higher handicappers. Honestly, I still felt the course was in fairly good shape and I will return. I just want others to know the risks involved if you are not paying attention to your surroundings.
Good no frills course
Good no-frills course to go to to start off the season
A great value, very affordable round
Went on a Saturday afternoon and got a hot deal for $24 walking. Got there and decided to upgrade to a cart, $19!. When I told the pro shop staff it was my first time there they gave me a club logo ball for free. Staff in general was very nice.
The course itself is short. I found the fairways and greens to be in pretty good condition but it was definitely soggy after the rainfall the previous night. My cart almost got stuck in a bog on 14. Overall though, I was in and out in 3 hours and by the time I finished I decided to do another 9 and they had no issues accommodating me. I will be back, this is a value golfers course and they offer it in spades.
