About
eQuinelle Golf Club is the centerpiece of eQuinelle Master-Planned Golf Course Community, an upscale residential community in Kemptville. It opened in 2009, making it one of Ottawa's newer courses but it quickly garnered a following as one of the best public golf courses in the area. The layout features massive, undulating greens and bent grass fairways that have subtle contours. Golfers will have to contend with many large, strategically positioned bunkers and some tricky natural fescue areas. There are five sets of diverse tees, giving golfers the ability to make the golf course as challenging as they want. eQuinelle's signature hole is the par-3 16th. This 170-yard hole plays over water to a very wide, contoured green that slopes severely to the right. Tall maples form a horseshoe around the green and there's also a pond to the right. Pin placement will play an important role on this tough hole.

Good value, great course
I'm a 15 HCP, found this a great place to play and will definitely return. Better once they have a proper club house. Worth the drive out to Kemptville.
One of my favorite courses in eastern Ontario
One of my favorite courses in eastern Ontario. Every whole is wonderful to play and the greens were super fast. Maybe too fast. Lots of 3 putts. Overall, highly recommended.
Condition of fairways was great
The condition of the firways was great and the greens were consistent throughout!

This is a well designed and maintained golf course.
This is a new golf course, well designed and maintained. The proshop and snack bar are temporary (there are plans to build a proper club house in the near future). The course is relatively open with a good variety of holes with well designed greens. It was very enjoyable to play.
Great golf course
That's what I call a great golf course. Hey CPGA look around here, this is an excellent golf course, you should play a tournement here.
A good course
It's a links style course so it's fairly open with wide fairways. The rough is tough and the greens are fast with lots of hills. The course is well maintained with only a few areas as ground under repairs. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in good shape. The course is easy to walk and the holes are close together. I'd probably go back on a nicer day. Several holes were quite picturesque.
My biggest complaint is that the yardages on the fairway are marked on the sprinkers in the ground and you had to walk around to find them at times. They also had yardage sticks (red, white, and blue, which I prefer) but only on one side of the fairway and not always visible.
My other complaint is that it rained most of the day (really hard at times). The course has a generous raincheck policy EXCEPT it does not apply when booking through Golfnow (something to keep in mind for the future). So, we (a group of 3) played in the rain and it wasn't too busy (except for the mosquitos).

Fairways and greens were in pristine shape. And gotta a good deal on golfnow.
Pure greens, large fairways
A mix of moderate to difficult holes, pace of play was ok. Drive from Hull, QC was easy

The course is in amazing shape from fairway to green.
My only complaint is the lack of rain cover on the carts. The reasoning was given to me why they don't have any as being that they haven't found one that lasts. All other courses that I've played have them so not sure what the deal is. I would think having at least a few to be able to use on rainy days like the one we had on Monday would be a good service to provide.
I do find it to be expensive at regular rate so the only time I play there is when I can find a good deal on Golf Now. My rating for value for the $ is based on the deal we got via Golf Now.
Greeens had been reciently earated other wise it was in great condition.
Enjoyed the track very much. The greens had been aerated otherwise I would have rated it much higher. The practice facility allowed me to practice chipping and irons which I think I needed to practice a little longer.
This was a terrific deal.
The course was in great shape and was fun to play despite the length. I would highly recommend it as one of the best new courses in this area.

The greens had been airrated recently so they were a bit bumpy. Ya gotta do it. Will be great in a couple of weeks.
Great value for our money
Beautiful course, manicured and the staff demonstrates a lot of pride in taking care of the customers and the course.

Awesome Course
eQuinelle has been a favourite of mine since it was opened a few years ago. In my opinion it is one of the top 3 public courses in the Ottawa area. Enjoy!
Great Condition
This course has very nice layout, condition of fairways was exceptional, greens were soft (rained before the round) but still had good speed, overall great golfing experience!

Course condition was above average for May 7 th Spring con dition. Looking good for pristine conditions in summer.
