About
eQuinelle Golf Club is the centerpiece of eQuinelle Master-Planned Golf Course Community, an upscale residential community in Kemptville. It opened in 2009, making it one of Ottawa's newer courses but it quickly garnered a following as one of the best public golf courses in the area. The layout features massive, undulating greens and bent grass fairways that have subtle contours. Golfers will have to contend with many large, strategically positioned bunkers and some tricky natural fescue areas. There are five sets of diverse tees, giving golfers the ability to make the golf course as challenging as they want. eQuinelle's signature hole is the par-3 16th. This 170-yard hole plays over water to a very wide, contoured green that slopes severely to the right. Tall maples form a horseshoe around the green and there's also a pond to the right. Pin placement will play an important role on this tough hole.

Great day at Equinelle
Course is one of the best in the Ottawa area. Conditions were great. Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend this course to anyone.

Le deuxième 9 moins difficile que le premier 9, ce qui en générale est le contraire ayant jouer plusieurs terrain partout au Québec et Ontario.

Course is always great shape
We played twilight on a Friday afternoon. We could ask for a better day to play. The pace is always slow for some reason. Have spoken to starter about this. They should not let the group tee until the group in front is on the green. The pace is just really slow but the course is one of my favs. It would also be nice if they installed a net like at Hunclub so you can use your driver and fairway woods. The first shot is 180 yrds over
water so it would be nice to have a few swings. Other than that great game and had a blast
We appreciate the feedback and are working to resolve pace of play issues at times of the day where issues exist. For example this season we are starting play on the 10th tee to provide golfers with an easier start to their round and so that they are closer to the driving range and have the opportunity to warm prior to teeing off.

Best course around
Lovely course. Great fairways and greens. Tea boxes could be slightly flatter.
There are porta potties that are clean ( as far as out houses go)
The new club house should be done this fall.

excellent round
This is the second time playing here. The conditions were top notch. The greens rolled perfect. Too bad I cant putt. Staff here are very friendly. Cant wait to play again.

Excellent day for Golf

Great way to Start the year
We played Sunday afternoon and got around in 3.5 hours. The starter asked if we wanted to go off in as a twosome and was very nice about the whole thing. Greens are in wonderful shape- no winter burn anywhere on them. Fairways and rough are coming in nicely too. Course was well drained as there were no soggy areas. Another round at eQuinelle, another round disappointment-free.

Very nice course that is worth playing
This is the second time I played the course. The first time I only played 9 holes as we got rained out on the back nine. It is a very nice course with ample room off the tee. The challenge is the second shot into the greens. You have to ensure you place the ball in the right area otherwise you could have a difficult putt. Some very nice holes with a variety of challenges. I would definitely play this course again.
great course this time of year
got paired up with really good golfers and ended up playing the blue tee boxes (normally play white since I'm 67 years old). Turn out I had a wonderful time getting 2 birdies, 18th which is a par 5 is one of them. I chipped in from 50 feet out saving a par from a difficult and long par 4. The excellent condition of the course and good playing buddies inspired me to raise my game level. I will be back many times to this course.
Great track
The course is in great shape for this time of year. The greens are fast and roll true. This is definitely one of my favourite courses in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.
temporarily under par
The aeration process of the fairways have turned the course into a sandy lot and the greens were not yet back in shape from a similar process 2 weeks before, we presume. The course was jam-packed and it was very slow. The Starter duo were disorganized and there was one helpless marshall watching the bumper-to-bumper scene. 5 hour round

A favourite of mine
Got on last minute with GolfNow discount/fire sale...course had aeration done week ago and greens are fast and firm...they were doing the fairways when I played but not really effecting play...Course was great and always love coming back. First hole can be intimidating with water to cross all the way up to the green...you choose your angle and hope....Greens are very undulating so get ready for 3 putts.

cartpath only
I pre-paid via golfnow for cart but turned out it's cart path only day. There was not reduction of the fee, no refund and no push cart left.... it's a bit of disappointing. But the course is very nice.
Love This Course
Although we paid ahead of time and committed to a no refund policy, I was still disappointed upon arrival to find out it was "Cart Path Only" for the day. I understand there was significant rain the day previous but in the end we paid for carts and basically were unable to use them. I hate with this happens.
But, everything else was great. Love this course, love playing there, everything was impeccable. I would always like to pay less but some things just are the way they are. 9/10.
Fast greens
Course layout, conditions were excellent. Greens fast
Very forgiving
Wide fairways and large greens, both in good condition makes this course very forgiving. Water and sand hazards but no woods of significance.
