Hy Hope Golf Course

Nice almost all par 3 holes but not easy to finish par. It’s good rate if you are walking but it would be to expensive if you order a cart from the pro shop. (More than CAD 30 for a cart and cash only)

I had the great displeasure of dealing with an older man at the front desk. I called this morning, booked and paid for my golf tee time & cart. I drove in 40 mins to play the course and when I arrived I was told that my booking was reserved but that they promised the carts to other groups.

When I explained that I had already booked and paid for my round, and had arrived early they told me that it was “too bad” and that I can not be refunded for my round. They cancelled my round while I was standing at the front desk with no explanation or refund. I strongly recommend that anybody looking to book here do so with great caution. The pathetic excuse for customer service that is shown here really hi lights their unprofessionalism. I absolutely would not return to this place for golf or otherwise.

I attended for a quick round at a small course never being there before. The course design is very dangerous to other golfers as some holes you tee off towards other golfers. There are bling spots where there is no bell to allow the golfers behind you to tee off. There was no Marshall to speed play up. We were stuck behind a slow old foresome who would not allow 2 of us to pass. At noon the were cutting grass around greens and not watching for golfers teeing off as it was a par 3 distance.

Awesome course for beginners. The course is laid out perfectly to test your iron and driver clubs. It helps beginners to gain confidence of playing golf. The awesome smell from the bakery as you get to the 18th is an inviting sensation of a great round of golf

Good course for it’s value only thing was some of the holes didn’t have good tee boxes and the layout of some holes were odd.

With inflation making so many things too expensive, this golf course is a breath of fresh air. It is good for beginners and has a wonderful bakeshop and produce market with preserves. If you are lucky, there is live music and a bbq outside.

I really liked the course. I'm not a huge fan of par 5's so for me, this course was perfect. The hole distances were perfect. I was able to play a variety of clubs and it was just challenging enough, not to mention that the store had great food items. The fudge and pies are to die for!

The group in front of us had 6 players and there was no one there to tell? No marshals or staff, made it a long day. I think it’s a lot to do with people not know how to be on a golf course. But I have always love playing at Hy-Hope and will keep playing there!

We played a relaxed pace and walked the 18. It was a great morning with time to just enjoy the game. The walk provides enough exercise to have that comfortably tired feeling at the end of the day. This course will improve your iron game with all the interesting features. It truly is refreshing to get back to the whole reason you started golf,,,FUN!

Well maintained charming little course. It’s not easy lots of elevation changes and small greens. Great place to practice your irons. I had a good time and will be going again. Check out the bake shop/farmers market. The butter tarts there are very good 👍

Hard to beat this course for the low cost, how well it is kept and the pace of play.

i love to play this place. but they do live music and shows. first tee can be loud. well cared for. no drink cart but does have vending machine half way mark(takes cash and coins).
