Boring day
Placed me with three others golfers who talked Chinese between themselves. Would have been better if I played by myself. Still great to golf anytime
Long day
Played with three other golfers but played by myself all day. As I did not understand Chinese Course was nice but not a great day.
Course
It was very good fairways and greens no delays just shoul md have cheaper rates for seniors during week around 50 or under with cart taxes since being on fox income would play more often
Rainy Day
Day rained on and off ,course was in nice shape.
Greens had a fair amount of deep ball marks left.
I don't blame this on the course. Golfers should fix their own marks.
Had a member join us friend guy. Had a few tips on different holes.
Great Value for the Money!
Challenging course in great condition. The Staff are very friendly. I will definitely golf here again.
Don't waste your time
Played this morning around 9am. We were waiting on every tee and every shot to hit. The tee boxes and fairways need alot of work. The cart path (if you want to call them that) need alot of work. You can get seriously hurt with all the jumps and hole.
It's like playing at a cow pasture. The greens were decent and they had a lot of decent shape hole. The layout is there. If the invest money it would be a great course.
I won't play there again even if it was free.
Lakeridge is not as good
The dry n hot weather probably rendered the course in poor shape. Many tee platforms were hard with many weeds. The roughs were either without grass or covered by weeds, greens still in good shape but several of them have plenty of brown spot. Some bunkers are still under repair. However, check in was super quick, less than a minute and staff n Marshall very polite n friendly. The course needs some improvement particularly on weed control.
Bunkers were rock hard. Fairways were okay, pretty weedy actually.
Needs Maintenance
I've played here a number of times over the years but it definitely needs some up keep. The cart paths are a rough unkept path with creators and mounds. Very uncomfortable to use between holes. No real food available at the turn. No BBQ options (burgers/hot dogs). Greens were ok but traps lack proper depth of sand.
Very dried out
Staff extremely friendly. Pro shop, starter and beverage cart.
Course was really dried out. Hitting from fairways were difficult. No give to the ground.
Greens were slow for being dry. Pin positioning was crazy. Most were on a slope.
Price included cart. Cart needed to be cleaned up. It was filthy, probably not washed all year. Also needed a tune up. Struggled to drive up minor inclines.
I hadn’t played Lakeridge in several years and it might be several more before coming back. The course needs work.
Maintenance needed
The owners must be making a lot of money from the development land they recently sold to build luxury homes but none of that money is being put back into Lakeridge. The cart paths are terrible, full of huge potholes and buckled pavement. You need a hammer to put the tee into the hard ground on the tee boxes. Some greens and fairways are poorly maintained.
