A wonderful experience
My wife is a 30 handicap... I'm a 3... and both found the course challenging.
Because of the layout of the holes, landing area, one should play it twice 2 x 9... we played only 9 holes.
Bistro after golf was great, perfect food at great prices.
Excellent 9 hole course in Woodstock
This was my first time at Sally Creek and I found it to be a challenging beautiful 9 hole course. There are water, sand trap and rough hazards on every hole and the greens were large with many contours. The course is very scenic with the creek winding through it and there are elevation changes especially on hole 4.

Nice little hidden gem. Unfortunately only 9 holes. Staff ars great.
The course was a bonus.
A little skeptical at first when i found out it was a 9 hole course, but it turned out to be a well kept secret. The greens were very challenging and in great shape. This is no grip and rip course, you have to play smart and think. The different blocks made the second nine different holes, I will be back! Must check out the Bistro afterwards.

No beverage cart or food at clubhouse. There is a restaurant but would have to wait until end of round.

Well maintained fairways and greens. Water and bunkers on each hole make it very challanging, but interesting. If you haven't played it before and not sure what's ahead it will make you second guess your club choice. Very fast greens that slope away quickly.

A lot of blind shots. You have to pay attention to the yardages on the card. Play was very slow

We had an awesome time here. Staff were so super friendly ant the course was extremely well maintained. Looking forward to coming back.
A shot makers course
Once we came to grips with the fact that this a 9 hole layout, we enjoyed the course. It is target golf, with plenty of water hazards and some narrow landing areas. The holes are well designed so they are not all straight up and back. The condition of tees, greens and fairways was immaculate. As we had an hour's drive to get there we went around twice from different tees each time. From the gold there were two holes that I could not make the forced carry, but the course certainly played much different from each set of tees.
Terrible Staff
We completed our round in just over 4 hours but yet the ranger was on us every other hole. Worst golf experience I have ever had. We felt so rushed and were not able to enjoy our day. Won't be going back,
