Tempest Golf Club

Course was in good shape even tho the greens were stamped earlier in week. Got paired w another group which was ok but prefer to play w the group we came with. Group in front was slow we waited at ever tee box for several minutes. Its was also cart path only and seem to be plenty dry to play 90 degree but I understand some people take a mile when given an inch. Staff has always been friendly and corse was in good shape

The course is challenging yet fun and fair. Looking forward to getting back for another round.

Group of 2 were behind us so we let them play through. This put us behind on the computer and then the Marshall kept harassing us about pace of play. We tried to do the right thing but apparently should have just held them up so computer showed us on time. Then hovered over us rest of round. My friend’s had to keep me from whipping him

Tempest is three hours from me and I am eager to play there again. The course is in great shape and has a wide range of challenges,

Course needs some TLC. Greens were punched and no heads up before I spent the $99 for a weekend round. Took a customer too and was talking the course up. I'll be watching the reviews here before I play it again.

Course was soggy, but any course would be after receiving 5” of rain the day before. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in great shape. Majestic views and tough course combined to make the day an unforgettable one.

Greens are nice only a few spots around but they are working on them. They have added new grass to lots of areas tee boxes are in good shape

Course is in good condition, I’ve played multiple other courses in the area and Tempest is much better condition. The practice areas are great.

If you enjoy a great golf experience, set up a tee time and play Tempest! The whole experience was outstanding. Before you head out to the course you should enjoy a meal. I had a mid morning tee time and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast I ordered. It was fast, reasonably priced, and delicious. It is clear the staff in the Neptune Gill truly care about every single plate of food they serve. For the record, I enjoyed an outstanding late lunch with other golfers I played with with the same results (Portions are huge.. Be warned). Shout out Cheyanne! You were the cherry on top!

I hit the practice facility after I ordered my food to go! Hat's off to the grounds crew for making the practice areas course quality.

Tempest is in excellent shape (a few of the greens are recovering)! The course is challenging, especially if you've never played it. The round I played yesterday was my second attempt. My score significantly improved with having some familiarity with the layout and best shot strategies.

I also want to thank the ownership for what you do to honor veterans. While most of us served because we think America is worth fighting for, it is nice when passionate patriots show their gratitude.

I have not found a better public course in East Texas! So, get out there and play it!

BTW- I hit a high draw from 167 yards out and stuck the green for an 8 foot birdie putt that I drained to end the round! I'll definitely be back!

This was a fun course to play at. The Marshall and Pro Shop staff were very friendly. The course layout was challenging and the scenery was amazing. I'm glad I was able to play this course. ⛳️

Besides it’s not being true spring yet the course was in pretty good shape. In another month then I’ll be able to make a educated review

Tempest has a long way to go but the constant improvements are adding up. We enjoyed the challenging layout as always.

Course has a nice and challenging layout. It’s been under construction for a while now but is getting better every month. However my last time playing we were behind a five-some of older guys and it took 3 hours to play 9 holes! Had to get a rain check or we wouldn’t have finished the back 9 before dark. Pace of play can ruin an evening of golf otherwise this course is pretty enjoyable
