Hidden Jewel

They’ve been doing a lot of work and it’s starting to show. Fairways are starting to fill in nicely. Greens are always slippery and the day I played, they were shower than normal.

Worth the drive

Course has done a 180 on the fairways. Nice job Tempest. Huge improvement with the re sodding of some fairways. Greens rolled great. Bunkers need attention. All washed out. It Rained the night before my round. Still looks like they need an overhaul. Definitely worth the trip though.

Third round

Course was in good shape even tho the greens were stamped earlier in week. Got paired w another group which was ok but prefer to play w the group we came with. Group in front was slow we waited at ever tee box for several minutes. Its was also cart path only and seem to be plenty dry to play 90 degree but I understand some people take a mile when given an inch. Staff has always been friendly and corse was in good shape

Marshall needs another job

Group of 2 were behind us so we let them play through. This put us behind on the computer and then the Marshall kept harassing us about pace of play. We tried to do the right thing but apparently should have just held them up so computer showed us on time. Then hovered over us rest of round. My friend’s had to keep me from whipping him

Course needs some TLC. Greens were punched and no heads up before I spent the $99 for a weekend round. Took a customer too and was talking the course up. I'll be watching the reviews here before I play it again.

East Texas gem

Course was soggy, but any course would be after receiving 5” of rain the day before. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in great shape. Majestic views and tough course combined to make the day an unforgettable one.
