Oakmont Green Golf Club

My buddy and I were hitting the ball at 8:10 am. The field was a couple of holes open in front of us, so we had an excellent pace up to the 8th. However, the pace remained very good. The greens were very smooth, beautiful and true. But rightfully a shade damp for the first few holes. Tees were well groomed but took a bit to adjust to the rounded shape. Our round was very enjoyable! Will play again soon, as I'm only 40 minutes away and the green fee is fair. Overall a very nice little gem to play. 👍

I have played here several times over the years. Staff always friendly. Considering it's September, the course was in great shape. Just a few rough spots here and there. Fun, fair layout, with just enough hazards to keep things interesting, but not be brutal for the casual player. Pace of play was good. Normal greens fee is $42...I got a Senior discount.

Very good high handicapper course. Most holes are wide open and easy to find your mishit ball. The white tee boxes were in rough shape. The greens were extremely slow. The staff was welcoming and eager to help. I will go back to play again amd would recommend to anyone.

Tee boxes could use a lot of work but greens and fairways were great

Course is good for beginners to intermediate players. Layout is open enough to give some trouble but not lose balls. Fairways and greens were in decent condition. Greens were firm because of the drought. Bunkers were a little rocky but playable. Not as bad as I would expect for the price.

Greens were questionable that day but excellent overall.

Tees were rock hard. Greens were not smooth and had damage. Fairways were average.

Greens had just been airated no notice before play and no compensation for poor conditions

We got a really good deal on this course, didn’t know before we got there that the greens had recently been aerated, but that happens sometimes. Fairways in fantastic condition, nice lay out course maintenance generally good. In terms of course condition, several of the sand traps are more like dirt traps. that’s not uncommon nowadays, but it is frustrating. But the place of play was ridiculous. Sometimes we would arrive on the Teebox and have two groups in front of us both stacked at the same Teebox. Round took 5h 5m. Too long. For the price, the value was there, but they have to do something with pace of play.

Good course. Friendly staff. But you should post a message saying greens are aerated, this can help customers make a better golfing decision. No change in price for certainly downgraded conditions with no warning.

The starter, named Chuck, set the tone. His banter with us was fantastic. We saw him a few times over our 5 hours and it continued. The course was in great shape and the overall experience was great!
