They needed to make sure there were enough carts for the 1 foursome ahead of us before issuing us a cart. Photo submitted by u6463401 on 08/20/2023

Poor condition
Staff very friendly. Challenging layout but course was in poor condition
Not worth it
Not worth the price they make you pay. They will squeeze as much money from you as possible. Managerial staff is very rude and entitled while desk staff is excellent.
A lot to be desired - but cheap!
Desired for $25 a person on Tee time we would give this a shot. Not too busy for a Saturday (I know why now). Fairways rough, little grass (it’s May 7th!) and weeds everywhere. Greens are exceptionally small but in decent shape and best part of the course. Cold sandwiches after front nine (they have a grill) and no Beer sales!! Hmm. For the money with a cart totally on the cheap but I won’t be returning whatever that means to the reader. Best of luck.
I love Norman links
Not much watering going on the course at present time. Lots of dry tee boxes and fairways making approaches and chip shots difficult to control. Greens are still healing from aeration punches but super fast with very little break besides the slopes and undulations. Overall I still enjoy this course very much and look forward to playing it more.
Good value
First time so I’m unfamiliar with the course. Aerated greens. I’ll try again in a month.
Needs attention, especially the fairways and tee boxes
When tended this course is a good play. However, this round of play was hindered by not just Mother Nature (wind) but also the neglect of the fairways and tee boxes. Some of the greens were spotty but generally, they were playable, fast, hard to read, and challenging overall.
The staff is great! Girls are always glad to see you and make you feel welcome. Keep up the friendly zone ladies. Hopefully, the course will get the attention it needs and be ready for the summer.
Fairways were bald and tee boxes rough. Would give me a cart that I'd payed for. I didn't care but reason given was golf now wouldn't go by there rules. They must be confused as to what company hired who and the rules they signed. Not going back
I showed up 4:45 for 5 tee time. I was then told I couldn't have cart, that I'd already payed for. Then listened to some girl try tell me how golf now is such bad deal and how y'all wouldn't go by there rules? I didn't bother letting her know how many courses used golf now and they couldn't hardly go by every courses rules, that the courses go by golf nows rules. I used play course few times year but no more. The fair ways were pretty much dirt, there little greens were ok. Pretty much a inadequate course ran by kids that couldn't care less about the course
Fairways need attention!
The layout is tight. Fairways are poor, especially after a good rain, meaning they become without grass with tight lies and bare ground in too many cases. I guess the high cost of good maintenance is too much a factor in meeting the potential and popularity of the course. Greens are variable in speed and slopes, and need some consistency, especially in speed. Sandtraps are poorly kept and tee boxes have deteriorated to a point of resodding or replacement.
The girls are great and always friendly. The clubhouse is limited and needs to expand if the course is seeking greater awareness/patronizing from golfers, otherwise keep it small, sweet, and simple.
Great public course
Great place to play. Challenge shots an some niceong holes. Putting green were in rough shape, but were in the process of being fixed.
