About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business in 2018.
Willow Springs Golf Course in Haslet, Texas is famous for having two sets of greens for each hole, used to maintain the best possible conditions depending on the season -- one for the winter, and one for the summer. This track plays just over 6,100 yards and offers a full 18 holes to the golfing public. The opening hole is the most difficult -- it's the only 400-yard-plus par 4 on the course. Nothing wrong with a bogey on this first hole, since it plays 446 yards. Willow Springs' back nine features two very birdie-able par 3s, as well as a 436-yard par 5 and a 280-yard par 4 that play back-to-back.

The winter greens are a little rough.
I always like playing this course. The people are friendly and the play time is fast. I found that the closed down summer greens were in batter rolling shape than the winter greens. Maybe willow springs should focus on one green?
Great course with wide open fairways.
I've been playing willow springs from time to some since 2000. It's a great course for beginners and novice. The fair ways are wide. Your ball is playable for most of the course if you hit a errant shot. Houses are pretty much not a threat on some holes. The greens and tee boxes are well kept. The staff are friendly and well organized. I really enjoy playing here.
overall pleasant
The fairways could use a little water, but the greens are great and the staff was very nice. Reasonable.
This course is fun
This course if fun and pretty easy, and the greens are normally in good shape because they rotate their greens for a summer and a winter period.
Good value for the money.
There are many areas in the rough where there is dirt (no grass) only apparently due to heavy play during the summer. The fairway ground cover was good but some low areas held water and were muddy. The greens are large and in very good condition.
some challeging holes good course for high handicapers
wind 20to30out of south made for some challenges on the easer holes and very fast greens over all grate bang for your buck I booked online with golf now 13.00 for 18&cart
grate price grate public course
Flat open terrain
Nice place to play, well maintained, driving range and 2 practice greens for putting and chipping.
Two sets of greens, ( winter and summer) move the hazards with the seasons.
Great play for the money. Super friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Just feels like being at home. With a group or alone, I always make new friends there and that's what brings me back again and again.
Decent and inexpensive
This isn't a TPC course but it's a fun and inexpensive course with a deal. GolfNow or twilight is the way to go here. Don't pay full price and you won't be disappointed.
GREAT! Course to go for work on your game
The Course is pretty easy to play nothing huge challenging. If you don't want to pay high price and just want to work on your game this is the course to play. 25 buck is the most I would pay for this course tho, even at the high season.
A very nice place to play with a country feel to it ....
I play Willow Springs a few times a week and really enjoy it alot!....The staff is very friendly and the rates are very reasonable. The course has 2 sets of greens, one for winter and summer, so they are always in pretty good shape.
The course provides fun for beginners and seasoned golf ears
The staff is VERY friendly and helpful. The carts have yardage to front, center, and back of the green, makes my club selection easier. The two sets of greens, summer and winter, ensures well maintained greens year round.
Play here all the time, easy to get on and price is great.
Course is developing but has all the basics you would want, generally very easy to jump on and they are very accomodating. Always expect wind, which adds to the difficulty and turns the course more challenging than expected. I don't blaim them for not watering what would be required to keep all areas of the course green during oppressive summers in Texas.
