Deer Valley Golf Course A+
Course is well cared for and in awesome shape. Management is friendly and cares about any concerns r issues for the people that play there.
Need water
Can’t believe there is only one water cooler on each 9
wet
was not happy when told when i arrived that only 9 holes were playable due to rain should have been told this when i bought hot deal on line
amazing
i have played here a dozen times. just seems to keep getting better.. enough sets oftees too choose from. traps were in great shape. THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM
Always enjoy playing this course.
We always enjoy playing at Deer Valley. It is never very crowded. The course was in excellent condition. Greens were a little slow but ball rolled true. Excellent price for an 18 hole course. Will definitely play again.
Nice course!
Deer Valley GC is a fun layout. Although the fairways were a little long Thursday, the grass is in great shape as are the greens and bunkers. It's a good test of skills and worth the drive (an hour due north of Peoria). I typically play Deer Valley a few times each year and will definitely do so this year as the course is in better shape than ever and we'll worth the price of greens fees.
First outing 2018
Weather was great the friends were great the course was great will play many more times!
Very nice course with a beautiful club house.
Love to play this at least twice a year.
If closer, 80 miles would play more oftern.
Great course!
We love playing here. We drive an hour to play this course. We think it is well worth the drive to play this course. The rates are really good. Would recommend this course to everyone. The only negative is you don't come in to the clubhouse after nine.
Perfect (for the price)
This course is the best $9.00 course I've ever played on and better than most of the $30.00 ones. There's a mix of straight, dog-legs, flat, uphill, etc. throughout the course. I would recommend driving this course whenever possible though because there are some long (would be) walks between holes.
Very Nice but how about some (accurate) directional signs !
This was a very nice and fair layout . Course conditions were good and pace of play was good except we got lost twice between 5 and 6 and again between 9 and 10. The directional sign on 6 lead us to someone's driveway and the turn between 9 and 10 is confusing because the path points you toward what looks like an abandoned half-way house but the tee is back away from 9 green. No signage here. We this caveat I would recommend it .
Great value
I've played Deer Valley several times. The greens and fairways are always in great shape. The clubhouse staff is friendly and accommodating. Expect the wind to impact your game, but hey that's part of playing golf.
Ok for locals not worth a long drive
Windy conditions didn't help and too many holes were just back and forth with few naturally interesting holes except for a long par 3. Pace of play was slow but not unusual for a late season warm weekend day.
Cart paths were just dirt in many places with ruts.
For $10 it was worth trying but wouldn't go there again.
