Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Pines Course
About
The Pines Course is one of three nine-hole courses at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood. The Links and the Ridge are the other two. The courses can be played individually or as three different 18-hole combinations. The Pines Course is named after the mature, tree-covered landscape. It and the Ridge Course make up the original layout at Eagle Ridge G.C. They were built over a sand and gravel quarry that was used to help build the Garden State Parkway in the late 40s. The unique and undulating topography is a result of this. The towering pinelands lend a sheltered feel to the course as well as a challenging element to the game. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play along the greensides.

fine course in good shape
Overcast day with some showers and forecast of more later, had the course to myself. Greens in great shape after aeration, last month they were bumpy still.
Always enjoy playing here.
Very good golf day
Sad to see main building bar closed told building Sold .. New bar by snack bar small but had old bartender Missy
Great layout
Course was in excellent shape. Price was to good to be true!!
Course is exceptional
The staff is ONLY courteous and friendly to the "Members" or golfers they know. If you weren't one of those then you didn't get any attention whatsoever. The short balded gentlemen hopefully was having a bad day because he was kinda rude and certainly didn't like that I paid for "HOT DEAL". Nonetheless I will return because I like the course.
Beautiful course
My favorite public course at the Jersey Shore.
Fantastic scenery and outstanding condition of course consistently.
Has been under onslaught for development by Lakewood community cult!
Would be very unfortunate to loose this large beautiful amazingly maintained natural scenic area!
Another good day at Eagle Ridge
Beautiful day. Great price for course. A few tee boxes spotty but didn’t affect play. Fairways and greens were good to very good. Greens looked shaggy but rolled quickly considering the insulation. Kept it fair.
Love the layout. Short on yardage but very fun to play using all your clubs.
Thank you.
Excellent Fall Golf
Eagle Ridge was in excellent condition for a great Fall round of golf! The tee boxes were in the best condition I have seen this season. I like variety & have played 16 different courses this year. The fairways were plush & the greens rolled true. The Links nine has some spectacular views & offers some unique challenging holes. I would recommend any golfer to get in a round here before the east coast golf season ends.
Course in great shape! Fun layout and great pace of play.
Better than Working
I have always enjoyed Eagle Ridge. I like the layout, and conditions are usually very good. This round the greens are still recovering from aeration, which this is the time of year, so the greens were still bumpy and slower than usual. Putts did some bouncing on the way towards the hole, the Links greens were a little better.
One thing I did notice, all the flags were down on the practice range, and most ball washers if they had towels were torn rags of no use at all. End of season? or a sign of things to come with the sale of the property and plans to build useless condos where they are not needed?
Still I enjoy the course and would recommend it.
Poor putting conditions.
My disappointment with the course is twofold.
First Golfnow or Eagle Ridge should have posted that Aeration of the greens was just done. Greens were bumpy and sandy from Aeration.
At least tell the public that the greens are not ready for putting.prior to booking a tee time .
a great day to play
long par 5s and also long and short par 3s. Some narrow and some high to low and surprisingly some low to high greens. For sure not a walking course unless you are young and in tip top shape.
