Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Pines Course
About
The Pines Course is one of three nine-hole courses at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood. The Links and the Ridge are the other two. The courses can be played individually or as three different 18-hole combinations. The Pines Course is named after the mature, tree-covered landscape. It and the Ridge Course make up the original layout at Eagle Ridge G.C. They were built over a sand and gravel quarry that was used to help build the Garden State Parkway in the late 40s. The unique and undulating topography is a result of this. The towering pinelands lend a sheltered feel to the course as well as a challenging element to the game. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play along the greensides.

Great condition for the winter.
The only negative is it’s cart path only. Even though it was not wet at all. Cart path all winter is tough as it is hilly. No blue flag for people with disabilities either.
Nice course
Only issue with this golf course is that it's cart path only all winter. It has a lot of hills so sometimes can be a problem if you have a tough time walking up them or have some type of disability. Nothing listed on the website saying cart path only so you can be disappointed when you get there and find that out. Should know that ahead of time!
Great course
The course layout and design is great, challenging from the blue and black tees. The conditions of the tee boxes, fairways and bunkers were good. The greens were very slow, maybe because it is late in the season. Overall great course but would love to see what the greens role like in the height of the season.
Nice
Course is in good condition. Greens were bumpy and slow, bunkers could use some more sand. No restrooms on the course (there was one but locked). Otherwise nice course, enjoyed it
Great course!
Played here a few times. Challenging tees for the low handicapper as well as fair tees for the higher. Greens roll beautifully and fairways are in prime condition. Pretty vistas from many tee boxes. Enjoyed it
A great value
fine course in good shape
Overcast day with some showers and forecast of more later, had the course to myself. Greens in great shape after aeration, last month they were bumpy still.
Always enjoy playing here.
Very good golf day
Sad to see main building bar closed told building Sold .. New bar by snack bar small but had old bartender Missy
Great layout
Course was in excellent shape. Price was to good to be true!!
Course is exceptional
The staff is ONLY courteous and friendly to the "Members" or golfers they know. If you weren't one of those then you didn't get any attention whatsoever. The short balded gentlemen hopefully was having a bad day because he was kinda rude and certainly didn't like that I paid for "HOT DEAL". Nonetheless I will return because I like the course.
Beautiful course
My favorite public course at the Jersey Shore.
Fantastic scenery and outstanding condition of course consistently.
Has been under onslaught for development by Lakewood community cult!
Would be very unfortunate to loose this large beautiful amazingly maintained natural scenic area!
Another good day at Eagle Ridge
Beautiful day. Great price for course. A few tee boxes spotty but didn’t affect play. Fairways and greens were good to very good. Greens looked shaggy but rolled quickly considering the insulation. Kept it fair.
Love the layout. Short on yardage but very fun to play using all your clubs.
Thank you.
