Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Pines Course
About
The Pines Course is one of three nine-hole courses at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood. The Links and the Ridge are the other two. The courses can be played individually or as three different 18-hole combinations. The Pines Course is named after the mature, tree-covered landscape. It and the Ridge Course make up the original layout at Eagle Ridge G.C. They were built over a sand and gravel quarry that was used to help build the Garden State Parkway in the late 40s. The unique and undulating topography is a result of this. The towering pinelands lend a sheltered feel to the course as well as a challenging element to the game. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play along the greensides.

Always feel welcome
I couldn't make the round it was a first for my buddy's they loved it and will but this on our weekly schedule for the rest of this year Nd next
Nice surprise
We picked Eagle Ridge because it was on our way home and it was a pleasant surprise. Some challenging blind tee shots and more elevation changes than expected in this part of NJ. Course was in great shape, especially for a public course. Three 9’s so pace of play really moved. It’s about an hour drive for us but worth a return trip.
great place
Good conditions for end of season play. Too bad some golfers are lazy and dont repair divots on greens.. Shame Shame.
4.6 Handicap
Great course... played Ridge/Links 9s. Shot 37 on Ridge, 41 on Links, in my opinion links is the most difficult of the 3 9s. It will tempt you into hitting driver when you should probably hit a 4 iron. Love this place, will definitely be coming back.
Tough course
Don’t let the total yardage fool you. Relatively short course but you are punished if you go off the fairway. Thick rough and numerous deep sand traps make it a difficult course. Course was in beautiful shape, but the greens were a little beat up from unrepaired ball marks. Highly recommend the course.
Beautiful course
Stunningly beautiful course. Suggest playing 10 thru 27, so you experience the pines and links sections. Staff was great and all the facilities were really nice. Can’t wait to play it again!
Interesting Layout
Played the pines & links nines. Course has an interesting layout with multiple elevation changes. Really like the Links layout. Very scenic challenging holes. The fairways & greens were in excellent condition. The sand traps were consistent. Pace of play was very good as my threesome played in 4 hrs. Overall, it was a very enjoyable round of golf! It will be a shame if this golf course gets sold & used to build housing!!
Location of holes confusing
Played late afternoon, all good. Greens s little chewed up from heavy traffic, especially around the pin. I found it difficult to find the next tee sometimes, got lost once, teed of on hole # 3 and for some reason I wound up n the wrong green!
Still trying to figure it out.
I would recommend this course really nice
Good Conditions
Course is in good shape... got good price of $40 for round on golf now... staff very helpful & friendly.. suggest u play this course soon since i believe it will close soon since it was bought to be developed for housing for the Hasidic community
