About
Once home to one of the world's largest herds of Jersey dairy cattle, the site is now the Jersey Meadow Golf Course. The course has evolved and changed dramatically over the years, including a major renovation in 2004 that replaced all the greens with Bermuda grass. The layout is routed through groves of mature oaks, providing a secluded feel to most of the holes. The golf course has a classic design that is still a fair test even by modern standards. Water comes into play throughout in the form of ponds, lakes, and winding creeks that weave through the holes. The 14th is a particularly memorable water hole with a creek all along the left side leading to the island green. The fairways are tightly lined with trees and the greens have subtle but tricky contours.

Not bad
Not a bad course. Grass was pretty dead but that’s something I’ve noticed at every Texas course I’ve played. Greens were unbelievably difficult which made for a fun challenge. I’m talking you better sink the putt because about 5 of the holes are perched on a slope and even if you tap it, a miss is rolling off. I enjoyed the layout of the course, a couple straight away holes where you can let the driver loose but a good amount of variation to challenge your game.
Only really complaint is that the place was pretty bad. If people didn’t drop out after 9, I would have had about a 5 hour round.
Understand that Houston was frozen last week so the course will be in better shape in weeks to come.
Tee Boxes need to be seeded

Green super fast.
Pin placement was horrible. Always on a slope and my would not stop on a lag put. It would roll back down the hill leaving by me a 7 to 10 foot put.

Great Value and Solid Course
I ended up paying $18 for 18 holes on Monday. I also used a $10 voucher I had on golf now so I paid eight bucks for around the golf and was extremely satisfied with the course. I was a little hesitant at first to play here but it worked out well and I will play again. Great course for beginners who are looking to have fun and be able to shoot a decent round
Beautiful Winter Round
Got to sneak in a round when others can’t. Played Jersey Meadows with my wife and were paired with a mother/daughter twosome. The fairways were very hard and the greens super fast. Pace of play was perfect !!!
