It took 3 1/2 hours to play the back nine.

Where was the on-course marshall ?

Double booking tee times , Marshall not pacing the pace of play , to busy looking for golf balls. Whole hole open and 3 groups on a par 4 ? Round would have taken over 6 hours.

Greens were great some soft spots in the fairways,always a great challenge...

The course lacks watering. Very difficult to place a tee if not impossible. Greens showed heat damage in some areas.

Having played courses in and around Houston area and having seen some busy, dry, wet, aeriated and/or tightly managed courses up until now have felt we got our money's worth.

Course seemed very "unkepted" from the fairways/rough and greens. And with the marshal/course staff complaining about how and where to park the cart near the green with no one behind was very uncomfortable. 4 feet doesn't make a difference.

Overall not a welcoming or fun round of golf.

This course was not worth $40. I've played courses for $20 that were in better shape than this goat ranch. The carts were in poor shape, the drinks were high, the course was not very good at all. It was my first and last time playing at this place. I would recommend not wasting your money.

This course was a good value for the price I paid. It had a good layout. The course is in need of maintenance and water. The tee boxes were extremely dry making it hard to find a place to tee off. This slowed down our pace of play and added frustration to the day.

Weeds. Everywhere. I thought everyone else was over-exaggerating. They weren't.

Fairway bunkers are completely packed down and filled with weeds. Green-side bunkers have so many pebbles in them.

This course needs a lot of work before I'd play it again.

This is an old course that has lots of value and the recent heavy rains have increased the playability of the course tremendously. Greens are great , fairways are being taken care of but all other areas seem to be suffering due to rain or lack of maintenance. get off into these areas and be prepared to take a drop.

This used to be a well maintained nice course about 10 years ago. The new owners have let it go downhill. It's still okay but many weeds where they shouldn't be.

Drinks are awesome in the bar!

Good course for your money if you play afternoon prices. Very easy check in. Friendly staff. Guys in club house bar were pretty drunk and annoying when we stopped by after nine and food was slow. The course isn't too hard. Lots of water so if you are a water magnet bring balls. Guy in starter both was an awesome old man. It was my second time playing and I will play there again. Over all decent course.

Bad golf course.weed. so bad

sand traps have been neglected for months. Sand is packed solid. Fairways need cutting.

Too many slow players. Starter kept putting people ahead of our group.

Even though most of the water coolers were empty. Can't beat the price will be back for sure!!!

The greens at Pine Crest are truly a treat and the fairways are well maintained. The staff was helpful, friendly, and truly accommodating. Due to the recent rain events/floods that have affected the Houston area, the bunkers are currently truly unplayable. Now you experienced golfers are probably saying if you stayed in the fairway you wouldn’t have to worry about an unplayable bunker, hmmmph I’m kind of a “ping pong” golfer. All in all, Pine Crest was a great value with a nice layout; I will definitely be back throughout the summer to play in hopes to improve my game.

Played this course on a very busy day but play moved along ok. Course is a full 18 hole course with narrow fairways and several water hazards. Two separate friends recommended playing here as a way to warm up for the season. Our mostly novice foursome had difficulty with many of the holes and lost balls in the wooded areas and water hazards, so got a bit more than we bargained for.

The tee boxes needed weeding but the greens were in fairly decent shape. There was little sand in the bunkers and the course had some soggy spots, but was much better than I expected for all the recent rain in the area.

There is a range that was mostly dirt on the tee off area and a practice putting green that was well maintained. The club house and pro shop were clean and there was a full snack bar/grill (did not try that). The course is a compact design such that many holes end very close to where the tee box begins for the next hole. The fairways are often directly adjacent to each other so we frequently had to wait for another golfer from another hole to retrieve their ball off our fairway before our play could proceed.

One good thing going for it though is there are NO houses on this course for the beginner golfer to hit.

Overall a decent challenging course (especially for novice golfer) and the the GolfNow price was right. We'll play this course again.

Good value for the green fee (during the week). Some dirt spots on some greens but nothing terrible. Will be able to play it better a second time after finding which side of the fairway to avoid on a couple of holes. With the recent drenching rains some bunkers were a little rough.

Good course the greens need a little work but overall good condition for the money

The manager behind the pro shop check-in counter is very rude .My son-in-law & I played 11 holes Sat the 14th before the lightning thunder & rain forced us to stop with NO warning from the manager who did not seem to care if we were if danger or not. After trying for a rain check we were told forget about it & to go to Golffnow with our problem. NEVER going back!
