About
Once home to one of the world's largest herds of Jersey dairy cattle, the site is now the Jersey Meadow Golf Course. The course has evolved and changed dramatically over the years, including a major renovation in 2004 that replaced all the greens with Bermuda grass. The layout is routed through groves of mature oaks, providing a secluded feel to most of the holes. The golf course has a classic design that is still a fair test even by modern standards. Water comes into play throughout in the form of ponds, lakes, and winding creeks that weave through the holes. The 14th is a particularly memorable water hole with a creek all along the left side leading to the island green. The fairways are tightly lined with trees and the greens have subtle but tricky contours.

Nice Hot Day
Facilities were very nice. A lot of excellent renovations. Great day of golf but a little Hot.
The good and the bad
The golf course is in pretty good shape with the exception of the aeration of the greens and ruts a damage caused by the recent rains and golfers, (including groundskeepers) driving in the saturated areas of the fairways. If I was the grounds superintendent, I would make it rule #1 that groundskeepers stay clear of these spots. I watch them drive into these "sloppy" areas on three different hole yesterday
Overall, the course is playable and the water loves to swallow golf balls as always!!! :)
Fun Course
I enjoy playing this course. The layout is fun. Over the past couple years they’ve done a fantastic job of getting the greens in much better shape. It seems like they are always working on upgrading the course. I played on a Sunday afternoon and we played in 3 1/2 hours. The pace of play was amazing. The pro shop staff is as friendly as any public course.
Wet conditions
This is a good course worth playing. On this day, it was saturated due to the recent rains, but I managed to play a full round by working around the puddles. Due to cancellations, I was able to play by myself without delays.
Greatly improved!
I went over Memorial Day weekend and it was the first time in years. The course condition and the club house have really step up since my last visit. The greens moved fast and the fairways seemed well maintained. The value was well worth it and I'm excited to get back here again.
No notice of punched greens
Power lines are a huge hazard. Ball hit line and bounced back and hit me on the head. Bled thru hat. Went to doctor.
Carts Are Ridiculous
Was 90 degrees on carts and course was totally dry, so no reason for that. Also they had way too many restrictions on them and would turn off and not go, and also stop displaying the GPS for course yardage when you went many places, so not user friendly at all. They really need to reevaluate their cart management process. Not sure I would play there again because of the difficulties with the cart use.
Great course and price
This course is great. Aside from a little sand on the greens it was very challenging and loved the layout. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
