Great Golf
I love this course. Has a lot of elevation changes. Blind shots by the handful. Challenging hole layouts.
Gets a bad rap due to the cart path layout. All unsubstantiated.
This is a fun track during the week. Weekends aren’t the best, given that 2 holes share the same green. A rather large green, but, shared nonetheless.
Aside from that, I believe #12 is one of the most difficult holes in ALL of KC. 500+ yds. Elevated tee. Uphill. Dogleg left, into a protected green surrounded by OB on left and trees on right.
Fun course and great rate !
Great Missouri small town hospitality. This golf course for the price is perfect. Practice greens and chipping greens with a driving net to get ready for 18. Channel fairways on par 5s. Elevated tees on several holes, fun doglegs and long fairways on some. Not one hole is flat with lots of hills and creeks so play smart and respect the creek that flows thru the course. Will definitely force you play conservatively. Enjoyed the course and the staff. I’ll definitely play again !
The course is very challenging. The tee boxes at Fairways are in great shape. Courses having problems with moisture on the greens and causing splotches. But the crew is excellent in our on it to get the problem solved. Love the grounds crew!
Less than I hoped for
Clubhouse staff was amazing. Food was good. Prices are great.
The course is a mess. No rhyme or reason to layout. Cart paths intertwine with paths from other holes and you can’t figure out where the next hole is. Greens and tee boxes are terrible. Just a rough course to play.
Golf is in very good shape. Some of tge greens are getting brown spots from the heat but still like playing there.
Big groups
The only negative is that I/we ran into a group of 6 below average golfers on one hole. They let us play though but then we ran into a 5some. I get it's a small town course, but I don't need to be out there for 4+ hours (18 holes). Especially when my 88 is the worst score of the group.
Hidden Gem
Fun layout, and challenging. Greens were great with a lot of undulations. I play all over the Kansas City area, top level courses as well as mid level. Playing any top level course on the weekend is pretty pricey. This course is rated upper mid level in my opinion, and a bargain.

Great layout and course has greens that are small and tricky! Love GPS on carts!
Challenging Course
This course was very challenging due to several blind shots and some trees situated in the middle of approaches to the greens. The greens were well-maintained but very small. I'm sure the course will be less challenging once it's been played a few times and you become more familiar with the layout. The course marshall and restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back.
Decent course, no etiquette
Only real complaint was that, as a single, I was stuck behind a group of 5 all day. Pretty typical of golfers in this area, they don’t offer to let you play through, they just try to go faster. Course was akin pretty good shape, though. Some really easy holes and some really challenging holes, not much in between.
Great fun course with fun layout
Liked the value and the layout made it different than most courses we have played.
Fun course
This was a fun but a little confusing course. I imagine it’s because it is winter time they did not have any T-box markers out. It was difficult to know where exactly to T off from. We got lost on one hole and realized we were aiming for the wrong green. It was an undulating course with fun challenges. We definitely want to play here again.
Always friendly
Have played the course multiple times. The club house staff and other golfers are always friendly. The course is a little crazy but it adds to the challenge
