Plattsburg Country Club

I played this course Father's Day weekend, and it was in great shape. But apparently the greenskeeper stopped keeping. One green was 90% playable; the rest were only about 50%. Most tee boxes were trash. There was only a slight difference between the fairway and the rough, and not in a good way.

Greens were in horrific conditions. Flags were in the same places they’d been in the previous few rounds. Followed a group of 5. Overall a poor experience. Would not recommend

It was a decent course. The greens need some work and there is no driving range which was a let down but if I’m in the area I’d play it again.

This course is always a good time. And the food never disappoints

First time playing and course was ok. The greens had a chemical burn or something...many were pretty bad. Lay-out was different and had couple interesting holes. I dont think wpuld play ot again.

It’s always a fun round, owner is always around and loves to talk with you. It has challenging holes, elevation changes and some blind shots to keep you on your toes.

We stopped in to get 9 holes in before the rain started. We were watching the Radar and planning accordingly. As we finished the 9th Hole, it started sprinkling as we were driving to the clubhouse. Great pace of play!! As for the course, the fairways were in great shape, the greens were in really good shape, to great shape; one or two of them had a bad spot or two, but they were really small, and you could tell they were making every attempt to cure the problem. At the Clubhouse, has a good selection of food, and the Fries and Onion Rings we had were very good. The Young Ladies behind the counter were very friendly and helpful, and engaged in conversation about the course. We had a good outing. We will be back again for a full 18 next time.

Very hilly course with lots of blind shots. Up a hill not seeing the green, some par 3's with elevation drop and then one up on top of a hill. Gas carts. GPS tablet on cart. Greens were in good shape but slower than I'm used to. Tough course.

Course has really improved over the last couple years

We come from MN each March and play this course. Liked the new yardage screens on the carts, greens were longer but early in the season.

I love this course. Has a lot of elevation changes. Blind shots by the handful. Challenging hole layouts.

Gets a bad rap due to the cart path layout. All unsubstantiated.

This is a fun track during the week. Weekends aren’t the best, given that 2 holes share the same green. A rather large green, but, shared nonetheless.

Aside from that, I believe #12 is one of the most difficult holes in ALL of KC. 500+ yds. Elevated tee. Uphill. Dogleg left, into a protected green surrounded by OB on left and trees on right.

Great Missouri small town hospitality. This golf course for the price is perfect. Practice greens and chipping greens with a driving net to get ready for 18. Channel fairways on par 5s. Elevated tees on several holes, fun doglegs and long fairways on some. Not one hole is flat with lots of hills and creeks so play smart and respect the creek that flows thru the course. Will definitely force you play conservatively. Enjoyed the course and the staff. I’ll definitely play again !
