Spring Valley Golf Course
About
Spring Valley Golf Course is a public, 18-hole course that features a rolling, hilly terrain with stately Cottonwood trees that are over 75 years old sprinkled throughout. Designed by Ross Graves, the golf course took over three years to construct, which is understandable considering its elevation of 6400 feet and its hilly terrain. The course is 7,180 yards from its championship tees with a par of 72. Golfers will have to employ their short game for this course. Spring Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the 17th, which is a par-3 that requires a tee shot not only through trees but also over a creek that winds through the course. There is also plenty of wildlife, including rabbits, deer, and antelope, for those who enjoy animals.

Course in great shape
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly...the course is in amazing shape for this time of year
Best kept secret in Colorado but getting more popular.
Any day on a golf course is good
For late October, the weather was unseasonably hot, the course was in great condition, except for all the fallen leaves around the greens that had lots ot trees around them. The green were fast and a little hard. Otherwise, it was a good day. The pace of play started out good, but slowed way down by about the 5th hole.
Always enjoy it
I think this is a good course for the money. It is normally in good condition. The Greens putt very true. Only problem last time was we were behind a foursome that caused our round to be over five hours. A Ranger speeding them up would have been appreciated
Great conditions, nice layout, too windy
The pace was great with no one ahead of us on this mid-day in the mid-week. But it was very windy which took away from the beautiful day and nice course. The greens were tough - very fast, but course was in great shape. Will play it again...after checking the weather forecast for wind!
Spring Valley
Course is in great condition and the greens were perfect. Rolled true and without bumps. The rough was just right to make it challenging. Could have used a ranger to speed up some beginner groups that bogged play down once they were caught up with.
Top Shelf
Spring Valley has been a favorite for a long time. Hope this place will stay this way for ever.
Great staff, great course, great place to enjoy.
One of my favorites in the Denver area.
It has developed and matured nicely in the nearly 20 years I have played here. Enough, but not too many trees to make it interesting, Challenging greens can at times humble anyone. Pace is managed well by the staff and with the attention to the green and fairway condition, this course is a jewel.
Fun golf
What a nice course and a great day to play, sunny about 82 degrees and light winds. Conditions were superb, pin placements extremely challenging. Best of all, we were a foursome and did not wait to tee off all day, well actually, there was a delay on 17 as the group in front had great difficulty on this very nice golf hole.
I will come back to this course and bring with me anyone that likes to play golf on a very nice golf course
one man's opinion
Course staff friendly and responsive. Amenities are on par for most courses. Course condition is fair not great. Moderately challenging for an intermediate player. I will continue to play here as the course is priced correctly to it's value.
Beautiful and challenging course. Had a great round. Awesome staff.
Good Course
Nice course. Fairways a little thin. Warmer weather and rain should fix that.
Mr A
Had a great day.... especially after tskinv a lesson from Justin... came to him with questions on short game. After s correction of swing pattern. I was able to reduce my strokes by 6 strokes. Best round I've ever had on the course. Thanks guys and lunch ( turkey wrap) was very good as well.
Plan to return for more lesson. Well worth the drive.
A great course that gets better every year.
Been playing several times a year here for over 15 years. It just gets better and better. Reasonably priced, good variety of challenges and probably most important, well maintained year in and year out.
Everything is very good except condition of the course. It is very dry and burned out in places Greens are not good but this is due to the lack of snow this past winter, not the staff. They are watering but it is going to take some time to start growing. Give it some time to green up. 60 days or more.
