Spring Valley Golf Course
About
Spring Valley Golf Course is a public, 18-hole course that features a rolling, hilly terrain with stately Cottonwood trees that are over 75 years old sprinkled throughout. Designed by Ross Graves, the golf course took over three years to construct, which is understandable considering its elevation of 6400 feet and its hilly terrain. The course is 7,180 yards from its championship tees with a par of 72. Golfers will have to employ their short game for this course. Spring Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the 17th, which is a par-3 that requires a tee shot not only through trees but also over a creek that winds through the course. There is also plenty of wildlife, including rabbits, deer, and antelope, for those who enjoy animals.

Golfer Reviews
Spring Valley
Great round and weather, good pace, course in very good shape. Forgiving course for the most part. Enjoyed the round very much and will return.
Great Value & Suprisingly good facilitiy
Good course, good conditions, exceptional value for the quality in facilities. Greens were pleasantly surprising in how fast they were with lots of undulation. I will play again for sure.
Great greens!!
Greens rolled true!! Lots of lush grass but also lots of spots with no grass. Fun and challenging!!
Great course/great price
Had a wonderful time playing Spring Valley. My son and I played 18 holes in under 4 hours and it was fantastic. The staff was great and the course was in great shape. It was an excellent value and we will play there again.
Spring Valley
Nice course, we have played this course before but not at this slow of a pace. Pace of play very slow and coming from Lakewood a 5 1/12 hour round is way to long, needs to marshaled bettet.
Cold and windy 9 holes
I've always enjoyed the layout, but the weather conditions this day, with high winds, cold and threat of imminent thundershower, caused us to quit on tenth hole, where solid drive and three wood into driving wind came up short of green on 350 hole (started on 10th). Early season turf conditions and recent green plugging were apparent, as well. Overall, I would return for the challenging layout that is out of the way in rural area, but worth the pleasant drive.
Always well maintained
Staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Course is always in good shape.
2 Courses in 1!
Front 9 and back 9 are completely different. Like 2 courses in one! Good value, friendly staff, food at turn is slow but delicious. Course was in great shape. Heading back again soon. Good value when using GolfNow pricing.
Peaceful course
I have played this course many times and I love how peaceful it is. Always see a lot of wildlife and the conditions are good to great. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I really like playing here.
5.5 hr weekday round and rude staff
Staff is very rude. Asked for a glass of water at the turn and they told me no. But i could buy one. What a joke. Half the staff at the bar drinking when you get done with your round. Seems like a party spot more then a golf course. Guys yelling curse words on the course that you could hear from few holes away. Guys also playing music from there carts behind you that could hear while teeing off. Skip this place.
Nice course
This course is well maintained, other golfers and staff are friendly, it was a nice round. It is a fairly easy course, we played from the white tees. You can add difficulty moving to the blue or black tees. Hitting a ball off the fairway may cost you a stroke but not always a lost ball. I only lost one ball.
Weekend Twilight Play
This was the first time playing Spring Valley. The course is for the most part wide open but still challenging with primitive areas bordering a few of the fairways. The greens were in fairly good shape but riddled with ball marks from previous play. Nice bar area with reasonable prices. Pace of play was excellent. We teed off at 5:30 and our foursome was able to get 12 holes in by dusk. I will be playing this course again.
Good value. Needs a little attention in some spots.
Overall it has great value. The few of the greens were patchy. That is the only complaint. Other than that I would definitely suggest playing the course. It's challenging and rewarding. Plus it has great scenery.
Worth a little drive.
We only played 8. My tee shot on nine was met with lightning on two sides of the course.
The pro shop was nice when I informed them of the lightning and hustled the ranger to get the kids who were there for a league off the course. The barmaid was very nice, busy, and hustled to take care of everyone with a smile.
Holes one through eight were fun, some good course layout and well cared for greens. I will be back to try again.
