Broken Tee Englewood - Par-3 Course
About
One of the golf courses at Broken Tee Englewood is a nine-hole, par-3 course and there is also a championship-length course. Previously under the name Englewood Golf Course there had only been one course, but after a few renovations, the facility's name changed to Broken Tee Englewood and two Perry Dye-designed courses are now offered. The nine-hole municipal course offers 1,750 yards of golf at its longest tees. The course offers great practice for beginning golfers. Broken Tee Englewood also boasts an excellent junior golf program, which makes this municipal facility perfect for family outings. On the premises there are several convenient amenities such as a lighted driving range, pro shop, and restaurant. Englewood is a spikeless facility.

Good Classic Walkable Muni
Had not played this course since they had done a redo of the layout (routed holes 7, 8, 9) west of South Platte River, which dissects the course. Conditions were good, pace of play a tad slow but finished in 4.5 hours. Very walkable, nice layout of new holes make 7, 8, and 9 tougher and more precise-target golf. Plenty of water holes, trees, bunkers to find. Practice area an 8 out of 10 - the driving range is a bit of a walk to 1st tee. Very friendly staff, some of whom have worked there many years. Definitely worth playing to check it out!
Exceptional
We had such a good time playing nine holes that when finished booked another tee time 20 minutes later:)
Saturday Golf
Course is fun and in good shape, pace of play was the downer for the day. 5.5 hour round isn't my idea length.
Beautiful CO Day
Greens were in great shape. Pace of play was very fast. Fun day with my son.
Rude staff....front nine in horrible shape
Very rude staff...front nine is in horrible shape and greens are awful on the front nine as well if your going to play this course just play the back nine only cause it's in decent shape at least!
overplayed
seems like this course sends all 9 hole players off the front. night and day difference between front and back. Front was in terrible shape. Back 9 was much better. 20% of the fairways were chalk as "ground under repair". no reason for that much fairway to be just dirt. front 9 greens were bad. unevenly mowed and wouldn't accept a good shot, rock hard.
Nice course
I would play this course again
Bad layout
Bad lay out. I was almost hit 3 times on the front nine by golf balls coming from the a different hole! The holes are way too close and you have to be on the lookout for errant balls coming and also in your fairway. Very slow play even for a Sunday. I haven't play this course for 15 years and now I remember why I don't want to come back.
Beer cart lady was hanging out at 17 th hole and never came around until too late.

Nice course, needs a starter or ranger to keep play up
We were behind 4 ladies that appeared to not know how to play golf or proper etiquette when there is a two some behind you and you are extremely slow players. It would have been helpful to have a ranger there to keep pace of play up. It made the round extremely difficult to enjoy.
1st time
Great course -1st one - great for the money
Wide open front nine - lots of water
Trees and out of wind back nine
Staff
More than willing to work with ud
No cart person throughout the entire course
Took my dad here for Fathers Day and we played the entire round with no cart person to offer us drinks. The temperature reached 90+ and we did not have a chance to get a beer or Gatorade. Since the turn from 9 to 10 does not go by the restaurant we didn't have a chance to get anything to drink other than the water spread throughout the course. Very disappointed. Only good thing was the course Marshall who was very helpful and nice throughout our round.
Good Value
Course is pretty well kept and provides a fair challenge to beginners and more advanced golfers alike.
Great course, OK staff
Overall I really enjoyed myself! A few things would've made this round a lot better! The staff was not the nicest unfortunately. When I checked in I used a brand new credit card which I guess something was wrong and it didn't work. The clerk loudly tells me "oh yea, that declined! Got any others?" Not an issue as I had other ways to pay but it was a little humiliating to say the least. You could've said it softer and used better verbiage like "I'm sorry this didn't authorize". Also the starter was useless except to give me a cart key. No information at all about the course and for a first time player here I didn't know they had a 9 hole par 3 course which I sat at hole number one for that because that was the first "hole 1" I drove up on. No signs or anything. Last negative was the pace... 5 hours and 4 minutes... I saw player assistance about 5 or 6 times and not once did he stop any of the groups ahead of us to tell them to pick up the pace. On hole 6 we had 4 separate groups on the hole! A group on the green, one in the fairway, one on the tee box and us waiting behind them! This is a little crazy! Other than those things I had an amazing time. The course was in great shape! They had recently sanded the greens ( something else not mentioned by the starter) so they were a bit slow but I had a blast. The guys I was paired with were a lot of fun! I'll definitely be back but those were the things I noticed while there that could be improved upon.
Nice public course
The old Englewood course, renamed several years ago. A pleasant track, tees for everyone. Generally nice condition.
Solid Course
Had a nice time playing the course. It was in great shape and not as slow as other municipals in the area. My new favorite course this summer!
